After a long hunt for accomadation in Rome, we found MAISON TREVI, it is reasonably priced, nice clean rooms and really friendly and helpful staff, there is no lifts sbut dont worry it is not that far up.

Stayed: October 2012, traveled as a couple

Maison Trevi is a real hidden gem in a sea of distinctly overpriced and often run down accommodation in Rome. As outlined in the previous review Maison Trevi is not a traditional hotel and is more akin to an apartment. If a hotel lobby and humdrum hotel breakfast is important to you then Maison Trevi is not for you (breakfast is not provided although a complimentary bottle of red was). If however you want to stay in a clean, modern and spacious accommodation in a fantastic location that is well priced and be assisted by exceptionally friendly staff (namely Diane and Ricardo) then look no further! In the interest of transparency it should be noted that there is no lift (the rooms are on the second floor) but I am sure the helpful staff would be more than happy to assist with any bags. To put it another was my girlfriend rates "hotels" by the standard/quality of their bathrooms and Maison Trevi got her seal of approval. If I go back to Rome, I'd look no further...

I stayed 3 nights in Maison Trevi. I would stay there again. Maison Trevi is not really a hotel. It consists of about 4 rooms located on the second floor of a building. There is no lobby, no sitting room, and no full-time staff. Breakfast is not served. ( I very much enjoyed going to the local bar for my cappuccino and coronetto every morning.) My room was an adequate size, very quiet, modern, very clean, air conditioned, with a private bathroom, a small refrigerator, and a safe. One feels more like one is staying in an apartment rather than in a hotel. The people who run it are very nice, and helpful. They provide very personal service, explaining how to get around, what to see, and where to eat. I felt very safe and secure at Maison Trevi. Maison Trevi is perfectly located in Rome - within easy walking distance of the major sights, and also the Piazza Barberini Metro stop. There are excellent restaurants and bars nearby. For me, it was the perfect place to stay in Rome. I certainly will return!

I stayed for one night each at La Piccola Maison and Maison Trevi Rome and was very impressed with both. The accomodation was impeccably clean and modern and the staff were wonderful and all spoke English which I found very helpful given that my Italian is pretty basic. I was also impressed by the quick turnaround on email enquiries... definitely effective communication skills.

The location was very central to hot spots. I would not hesitate in recommending this place to friends and family.

Big room, nicely decorated, lots of space for clothing, TV, fridge etc. Huge bathroom. All new and spotless. Location is perfect, in walking distance to the major sites. Staff was always helpful and happy to give lots of recommendations for places to eat etc. Would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Rome.
