“Good service in heart of Rome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2012

The main advantage of hotel is its location: two steps from Termini station - the cross of transport flows in Rome. Room was cleaned every day. Bathroom's interior seems new. There was an oops with hot water one morning. But I consider this as an exceptional case.
Hotel is operated by Paolo, friendly and shiny man (Ciao Paolo! Thank you! Everything was fine!)
Connecting with price this is a worthy place to stay in Rome.

The location of the hotel (less than 5 minutes from Termini Station) makes it an ideal base for visiting Rome, as you have almost every bus coming here + the two subway lines that will take you anywhere in the city. Just look very carefully on the right side wall for the hotel sign. It gets lost in between the many others (we didn't see it the first time).

The owner - Paolo - was more than helpful and kind and fun. He took time from his free time to come meet us, because we arrived when there was no one at the reception. He also gives great advice and very good directions for visiting Rome, so trust him!

You have complete independence, as Paolo gives you all the keys you need (to get in the building, to the hallway where your room is and to the room itself - we felt very safe & secure thanks to this and to the CCTV cameras installed on the hallway).

There is a small restaurant downstairs where you can have a decent breakfast or a beer before going to bed (take this restaurant as landmark for finding Hotel Bed in Rome).

The room was spotless, just like the bathroom, and quiet. We also get a little balcony, even if the sight is not very impressive (the next building is just a few meters away), but we never felt deprived of our privacy. And this little balcony persuaded us to stay out one night after dark and see part of Rome by night.

We also got to hear some chansonettes and tarantellas, as there was a strolling accordionist coming by the downstairs restaurant every night. Amazing! We loved it!

I would definitely stay here again, but there are so many other places in the world to see that I do not know when I'll return to Rome. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as me and my mother have!

Room Tip: I don't think there is one room better than the other. But if you don't like what you get...

We recently stayed at the Hotel Bed in Roma. The room was spacious and we loved the fact that I was cleaned every single day. The hotel is really close to the train station and main sights in Rome (The Colosseum, Forum, etc).
Paolo runs the place; he is very helpful and friendly. He helped us with all the information we needed and we definitely would stay here again.
Be aware that there is not a 24-hour reception and the rooms are in the 4th and 5th floor.
There is an elevator, but it is really small (fits only 2 people).

I had a really nice stay here. It's very small but the rooms are big and cozy! The bathrooms are really nice, It's supposed to be a 1 star hotel but it's definitely way better than a 1 star hotel. Paolo is the sole owner of this place and he's been running it for approx 3 months (during the time of my stay) and he's doing an excellent job! The service was great and he helps you out if you have any questions!

Make sure you let him know exactly what time you're coming in to check in so that he is there in the office to check you in. If you don't tell him, then he might not be there and because he is the only one that's running the place, nobody is going to let you in. We learned it the hard way but somehow got a hold of Paolo and he came to check us in even though it's not under his "normal hours."

Thanks Paolo for everything! Next time I go to Rome, I will definitely stay at your hotel again! This place is definitely worth it and you're defintely getting your money's worth for staying here! Highly recommend! I give it a 10/10 rating!
