Alberto is very nice and maintains a high standard of cleanliness throughout the b and b. We felt free to wonder in and out as we wished but Alberto could be contacted if needed. For the money it is a bargin and it's location means you are in easy reach of all the major sites quickly. (the Vatican is probably the only place you would need to use public transport for but the metro stop is close so no issues with that either). Just one tip: if you are coming and want to save some money then don't get the train, which is around €28, each return, but get the bus. Don't however buy tickets on the plane for €11, because these are tickets to the centre, purchase them in the terminal building (follow the signs to the bus stops inside the terminal and you will see a stall selling tickets). The company is called atral but the posters in the hall say terravision. The return bus costs €8 each will take you to termini, these buses are not effected by strikes and run from 6.30 to 21.50 from the airport the returns run inbetween. They have a website if you type in terrovision into a serach engine you will get to it.

We stayed at Termini Gold back in June. Late to write this review but decided we should share our thoughts of this delightful b&b with other tripadvisor readers. Alberto was the perfect host, introducing us to his wonderful Rome. He gave us many tips on how to get around and great places to visit. The b&b is extremely clean and beautfilly presented - and a great coffee machine to help yourself. Just around the corner are a number of good restaurants, not to mention the fabulous icreceam shop nearby. If we ever return to Rome we would definitely stay again at Termini Gold and have recommended it to our friends.

Room Tip: Request room with private ensuite.

We backpacked around Europe and stayed in this B&B for our final three nights in Rome, which was a perfect decision! It was so nice to have basically our own apartment after sharing with strangers for a month. Alberto is really nice, the rooms are modern and funky, nice bathroom, comfy bed, free wifi and laundry, yummy breakfast provided, and only one other couple staying at the same time as us. (There are two double rooms total). We walked to the Colossum (~15mins) and also were well located near Metro stations.
The restaurant on the corner (walk to end of street 10 seconds and turn left, tables are out on pavement) is really nice too, delicious, reasonable.
Also would like to note that this B&B is gay-friendly:)

Well situated, about a 20 min walk from the Colosseum. However, there is a Metro stop about 5 min walk away which is really easy to use and will get you around Rome with less wear and tear on the old feet. When the taxi dropped us off outside the b and b it was a little unclear as to where we needed to go as it is in a residential apartment block, however, closer inspection of the little name tags on the doorbells told us we were in the right place. Alberto made us feel really welcome and spoke really good English, far better than our Italian! The room was well decorated to a good standard and was very clean. It also had a very welcome air con unit which was essential in the 40 degree heat!! Breakfast was left for us every morning which was basic but adequate. There is a coffee machine in the kitchen that is free to use and chucks out a good roast! All in all, a very nice place to stay and we would certainly go back if we were to visit Rome again. Just to note, there is an awesome Gellato factory/ shop 5 mins away which you MUST visit- G Fassi- Via Principe Eugenio, 65, 00185 Rome, Italy

If you are in Rome and are on a budget, stay at Termini Gold B&B! Even if you're not on a budget...stay at Termini Gold! What a fabulous place to stay, and the owner Alberto is awesome. Quite honestly, Alberto made the stay extraordinary. He works so very hard to make sure his guests are happy and comfortable. I honestly can't say enough. Termini Gold felt like a home away from home for us, the perfect place to rest at the end of a busy day. Thanks for everything Alberto (and for hanging our wet laundry up...that was above and beyond and very, very funny)!

The B&B has a kitchen and a total of 3 bedrooms (it's like an apartment but with more privacy)...and everything is oh so clean! There is air conditioning (we were so excited as it was hot) and a functioning lift in the apartment complex. The rooms are quite spacious, the bed was comfortable and it was always so nice and quiet. The rooms are also decorated very nicely (very modern). The B&B reminded me of an IKEA magazine :)

Alberto made gave us great directions about how to get to the tourist sites (there's a special walk that is so much nicer than walking on the main street as there is almost nothing to see on the main street) as well as a great recommendation on a nearby ice cream shop. That walk he shows you on the map is also good because you can use that walk at night and there are always plenty of people around (we strayed from that walk once and ended up on a scary section of a street...our fault. It was only scary for 2 blocks but stick to the walk at night just in case)

I'd recommend this B&B to anyone going to Rome. I recommended this B&B to all my family members and friends. If we are ever in Rome again, we will be sure to stay at Termini Gold.
