“Perfect choise”
Reviewed October 27, 2010

We made a citytrip for 3 days and chose this hotel. It proved a right choise. Very nice room (and bathroom), very close to the vatican and very friendly staff. It is a small hotel (only 15 rooms). There is no option for breakfast but we did't find that any problem because there are plenty of good options for breakfast in the neighberhood.

Vatican View Hotel really is at the back door of the Vatican, surrounded by restaurants. It is a small hotel which does not have a facility for offering breakfast or many amenities, but it makes up for this by being beautifully designed, well decorated with spotlessly clean and efficient bathroom and a comfortable bed. Lighting is excellent It was just what we needed and I would definitely return when in Rome.

Only spent one night in this hotel, but was very happy. The hotel is so new it does not yet have a sign over the door, so a little chanllenging to find. Rooms are huge, modern and comfortable and the bathrooms was well kitted out. The location is within a 5 minute walk of the vatican walls. The local restaurants are a little too toursity but it is only a short walk to better areas. Good value and I would definitely recommend.

I really liked this place. It's just a few steps away from St. Peter's Basilica. The rooms are beautifully furnished in a modern designer style and do actually look like in the pictures you'll find in the internet. Also, the young lady at the reception was nice and charming.

The hotel does not have a restaurant or breakfast room and no minibar. Also, the rooms are not very sound proof. However, all of this didn't mather too much to me. I would book this hotel again ...

We found this super new hotel by incident on Google maps, as it opened only 15 day ago. The hotel is about 100m from the Vatican and 300 meters from all (tourist) bus stations. Very modern design, very quiet en equipped with free WIFI, Samsung LED TV, rain shower, and with a nice balcony with a view on the rooftop. Our room was quite small, but well equipped with a coffee maker, some snacks and a small kitchen in the hallway. They offer no breakfast, but there are plenty opportunities around. Parking on the street is nearly impossible but they sent us to a parking garage 100m away where we could safely keep the car. If you look for an elegant, brand new small design hotel near the Vatican, this is it. We are certain that this hotel will hit the top 30 in Rome on Trip Advisor soon!

We chose this hotel to spend a weekend as extended family together. We booked 2 rooms. Very new, well furnished with modern appliances and access to kitchen facilities either within room or corridor. Rooms had air-con which was a bonus and could be controlled in each room. Very nice welcome from Fabio. No restaurant or breakfast available but we just bought in and plenty of cafes close by. Very quiet location but only a few steps to St. Peters Square. Bed slightly hard but fine. In one room we had a large sofa bed which allowed for extra space during the day but needed making up at night. If you are looking for something modern, clean with a nice design I would not hesitate to reserve here, you have easy access to other areas of Rome with the nearby tourist buses around town. Only slight irritation was we could hear the people in the next room but this only disturbed us for an hour one evening. Highly recommend in a city where many hotels are in need of renovation!
