After reading all the positive reviews on Tripadvisor we felt pretty confident we chose a good spot in the Rome Armony Suites, and we were very happy with this choice.
We had Luca arrange transportation from the airport which was a very wise thing to do after travelling for 12 hours.
The B & B is well situated in Rome within easy walking distance to many of the important sites. We arrived late on a Saturday night and got up early on Sunday and walked all over the city.
Our room was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Our host, Luca, was very helpful in making arrangements and suggestions.
I highly recommend Armony Suites and plan to make it our home base whenever we are in Rome.

My husband and I had tried to book a room at the Rome Armony Suites but they were already full a few months in advance, understandably so because they are so great. Luca offered us the option to stay at their apartments located in Trastevere which is about a 10 min walk from colloseum and 15 min walk to Vatican city. Here we had the pleasure of working with Luca's son, Andrea, who is equally as awesome as Luca! Prior to our visit, Luca was very helpful in helping us books tours, schedule a taxi, and prepare for our arrival. Once we got there, Andrea was also extremely helpful with mapping out the city for us, recommending some great restaurants, and suggesting the best times of the day t visit the Vatican and Colloseum/Forum which was extremely spot on! The apartment itself was wonderful! You had a maid who came in daily to clean so you did not have to worry about that, the apartment had everything you would need to cook, do laundry, iron, etc! We loved the location because we felt we were able to be a little but away from the tourists and experience the real Italian life but the tourist locations were in close proximity! We left Rome to explore Italy for about 10 days and I could not wait to return to "our" apartment in Rome for our last day before we flew out!

Also, a word about the tour Luca helped set us up with for Ostia Antica: We wanted to see the ruins in Pompeii but were told that Ostia Antica actually had a lot more to offer and Luca suggested a tour with his archaeologist friend, Jim! We had a blast! Jim in so knowledgeable that even as we traveled to the site he had so much information to share with us about our surroundings! At the site, he took the time to explain the history of what we saw and to help us imagine what it would have been like. He even explored new sites with us that he had never seen before and that was awesome. We also had a little picnic in the ancient Roman bar in Ostia for which Jim brought some sausage, cheese, bread, and beverages which was so thoughtful! If you go to Rome, request a walk with Jim! His email is walkitwithjim@gmail.com

Thank you Luca, Anrea, and Jim for the wonderful experience!

Ciao!

My wife Kathy and I stayed here for 2 nights in early May, and above all I will say what makes this b&b great is the owner, Luca. He was one of the nicest people I've ever met, and was only too happy to help out with anything to make our trip a bit easier. Felt like we were leaving a friend even after such a short stay at the end.

For Rome standard the b&b was also great value.

Luca, maybe we'll catch up with you on the Gold coast some day in your dream house :)

The owner, Luca, went beyond what a "regular" hotel offers. When my husband & I arrived in the afternoon to check-in, we asked where we could get a quick bite to eat (since we hadn't eaten since breakfast). Luca said "Come with me". Him and his son Andreas (spelling?) took us the the Brown & Co for a bite. Both of them assisted us in restaurant suggestions and attraction reservations.

The room was great. LOTS of closet space and the bathroom was the largest we have seen in Europe. We had a street view room, but because of the good windows, we could not hear the street noise.

There is also an elevator if needed to get you from the main floor (floor 0) to the second floor.

I have already recommended this place to a coworker, unfortunately because this B&B is so great, they couldn't get in (didn't book far enough in advance).

Armony is situated in the Prati district of Rome, very close to the Vatican, which makes it very easily to walk to pretty much anywhere within Rome that you'd want to visit.

Luca is a charming, thoughtful man who will organise anything you need or want. He has recommendations of tours, restaurants and much more.

The rooms are very clean, the beds are REALLY comfortable and the neighbourhood very safe even late into the night. I felt safe enough to go and get some late night gelato (I have a very soft spot for the amazing stuff!) without my partner and felt as if I was walking around my own town without feeling the slightest bit nervous.

The apartments are set on the second floor of a typical Roman apartment block with green shutters and and a central atrium area. There's a lift, if you've just had too much walking or gelato and it's a very quiet block. We didn't hear a peep from rooms either side of us. If the street is a little noisy at any point for you just shut the window and it's amazingly serene and cool from the air conditioning, which I believe is few and far between in Rome, and we had the best nights sleep for a long time.

I woudln't hesitate to recommend the Armony to anybody and look forward to seeing Luca's latest acquisitions over in Trastevere for our next visit. We WILL be back.

Just back from a four night stay at this excellent hotel. Location is ideal and the breakfast at the cafe round the corner is great. Rooms are very well appointed. Luca was very welcoming and spends time sharing his expertise.
