Not much I can say that hasn't been said already in previous reviews. Lucas makes you feel more like family than a guest. From the time you check in he spends as much time as you'd like recommending itineraries, places to eat, the best way to see things, etc. Before going anywhere I'd talk to him first, his advice is priceless. Rooms are clean and comfortable. If you don't mind spending the extra money get the superior room. Just a bit bigger but all the rooms are adequate. Location is very close to the Vatican and the metro. I saw some negative reviews on the breakfast. It's a typical Italian breakfast. Coffee, espresso or cappuccino with a pastry. Not a Denny's special with 4 eggs, 4 pancakes, toast and bacon. You're in Italy, not America, get over it. I looked forward to my cappuccino and pastry every morning there. I would definitely stay here again.

I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. Luca - the owner - goes out of his way to ensure upon arrival you are settled in properly, you have somewhere to have dinner on your first night, recommends things you should do and see, so friendly and helpful - he really made our first stay in Rome fantastic. The rooms are clean and the bed is wonderful - we had some of the best sleeps we've ever had! :) The location is brilliant too, all the major attractions within easy walking distance. Will definitely be staying with Luca again when we return!

First of all, the bed is comfy!!!Love the bed!! The place is new, clean and classy! And the owner Luca is very nice and friendly, gave us travel tips and loads of recommendation such as where to eat, and how to be smart and buy ticket at the second entrance for Colosseum ;) He treat us like friends and we indeed ''live like a roman'' with his help :D

Me and my boyfriend visited Rome to watch Bob Dylan in November 2011, we booked the hotel after reading the excellent reviews on here and we were not disappointed!

As you can see from the other reviews, the owner Luca is brilliant, he met us downstairs and carried our bags up the stairs while we took the lift.

We told him we were watching Bob Dylan that night and he told us exactly how to get there by using the metro, how to buy tickets, every detail. He also recommended somewhere to eat before the gig.

Our room was excellent, very clean and modern.

The location of the hotel is great. We felt safe walking back late at night. It's not too far from the Vatican and metro stops.

Each morning we received a voucher to get breakfast at a nearby cafe. Breakfast in Italy is simply a coffee and some kind of pastry so don't be expecting the full works.

This is one of the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Luca is the best owner we could of asked for, extremely helpful, especially with recommending restaurants.

Highly recommend this place!!

If you are reading these reviews and wondering if this guy Luca is for real, the simple answer is, yes, he is an absolute star whose sole aim is to make sure that you have the best time possible in Rome.
I don't want to repeat all the plaudits you'll be reading, suffice to say that I agree with them all. Instead I'll give you a heads up on our stay and hope it helps you in planning your own time in Rome.
Room:
The most important thing here is, if Luca has availability on the dates you are travelling, grab it with both hands, he gets so booked up now and you won't be disappointed.
I was travelling with my 13 year old daughter and spent 4 nights in Room 5. It's a double room which faces the inner courtyard. The room was lovely with masses of wardrobe space so whilst this will be one of the smaller Armony Suite rooms it really is not an issue and besides, apart from sleeping, you really won't be spending much time there. The bed was very comfortable and we slept like logs but this may be as much to do with the miles that we walked every day.
Luca provides free wifi which worked brilliantly and if you want to book any tours etc, Luca will print any tickets out for you.
Armony Suites is in a great location, all the sites in Rome are easily walkable from here and indeed this gives you the best opportunity to experience Rome. You'll miss too much using the subway!
Breakfast at Armony Suites is in a local cafe around the corner. The staff are charming, the pastries are great and the coffee delicious. The place has a buzzing atmosphere to it and really makes you feel like you are mixing with the locals on their way to the office.
We only had 3 1/2 days to explore Rome and whilst this is not nearly enough, we really feel like we experienced what great things Rome has to offer and we definitely plan on coming back. Luca is so helpful in suggesting things that will appeal to you and will print off tickets etc.
We combined the Vatican, a walking tour with Jim and a Dark Rome tour to the Colosseum and Forum. Whese complemented each other really well with no overlap so if you would highly recommend this combination.
Here's a snapshot of our itinery but I've left separate reviews on the Vatican & Dark Rome Tours on Trip Advisor
Day 1 Vatican Basilica (including the climb to the top) and Vatican museum in the afternoon.
Day 2 From the other reviews here, you will have seen the walking tours by Jim mentioned. Jim is a Brit who has been living in Rome for years and is an archeologist. We booked him for a day and what a fantastic day!. We walked miles, were completely entertained by tales of Rome past & present along with other amazing facts. Well worth it and Luca can put you in touch with Jim to get this booked.
Day 3 - Luca recommends getting lost in Rome. No, he's not being rude, he just wants you to experience wandering around the streets, suddenly popping up at a famous landmark before disappearing down narrow streets again. Several times when we were walking with Jim the day before, we thought 'we'll come back here'. No chance but we found other equally lovely spots. So we spent our morning 'getting lost' and having fun before making our way over to the Colosseum for a Dark Rome Tour
Eating
Raf Pizzeria just along from the Armony Suites is great. Our highlight though was Trattoria dei Villini, a few blocks from Luca's. He claims this to be the best carbonara and it really is delicious, we also had the ravioli with walnuts - sublime! This feels like a hidden gem that the locals keep to themselves.

I'll leave you with another of our fun experiences - crossing the road Rome style. Zebra crossing - if you stand there waiting for the traffic to stop, they won't. Just take a deep breath and march across looking straight ahead. Yes the traffic will carry on but they will swerve around you. It really is quite something. Don't hesitate, they can sense fear! However, on a pelican crossing, behave and wait for the green man, I think that you would probably be fair game if you cross on red!

Thank you Luca for a wonderful time, you really are a friend in Rome and we will return with husband and daughter no 2 in tow!

We had a great time at Armony Suites when visiting Rome. Our taxi driver from the train station dropped us off at the B&B my family members were staying at and refused to drive us to Rome Armony Suites as he said it was just around the corner from the B&B A Peace of Rome (another fabulous B&B my family is still raving about). The taxi driver lied and apparently Armony Suites was quite a far walk with all of our luggage. The owner of a Peace of Rome called Luca of Armony Suites and Luca had sent his son in a car to retrieve us and our luggage. That's what I call first class service! The room was spacious, very clean and had a large bathroom. Luca also helped with our bags to our car for the way back to the airport, which was very helpful. There was also some chocolates in the room for an Easter celebration - a very nice touch! Would certainly recommend.

This is your best pick for a place to stay in Rome. Luca and his son Andrea provide all the help you need and clean, comfortable beds without being in-your-face about it. Luca knows everything about Rome and the location of this hotel is great - less than 10 minute walk through safe, comfortable neighborhood to the metro stop and surrounded by good shopping and restaurants. It is very easy to stay here and prices are eminently reasonable. Luca is cool and you are his friend the minute you step foot in the door. He's pretty funny and loves U2. He also swam in the 1988 summer olympics which is pretty awesome. Luca even took us to the Pope's Christmas blessing at the Vatican, about a 15 minute walk from the property.

Another great thing about this B&B is that Luca has his own place to live somewhere else, so every time you step outside your door you aren't staring into his living room. Breakfast isn't some crappy pastry from the Italian equivalent of Costco - Luca sends you to a really great bakery/cafe right next to the B&B with a coupon for breakfast. I really just don't see any reason for you to keep reading reviews - just go ahead and book this place.

Luca if you read this thanks for an awesome stay. Hope to see you again.
