“"The" most amazing place to stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2012

It’s a fact, we have tried it, you can’t repeat it enough : it’s “the” most amazing place to stay in Rome. Clean, beautiful, in walking distance from the city center and the Vatican.
The kindness of Luca and his sun is outstanding. Everything you ask from pick up at the airport, making the reservation at the museum or restaurant even using an umbrella or an iron, everything is possible and done with a big smile. Luca is not a host but a friend.
We will for sure go again to Rome and for sure stay again in Luca’s B&B.

This is a perfect place to stay in Rome, from the time you make your reservation until you leave Luca makes you feel welcome and it's like you are visiting a friend in Rome. The breakfast at Brown's around the corner is very good with all kinds of fresh pastries to choose from. Luca and Andrea provide maps and directions on what to see and where to eat. He has information on the local places that have great food. You won't find these restaurants in the tour books and as a tourist you wouldn't normally get to experence them. This is the place to stay in Rome! Make sure that you make your reservations as soon as you have your dates if you want to stay here as they are always booked up. Luca talked to us about our sightseeing plans and made arrangements with a walking tour that covered many of the important sights and some that you probably wouldn't see on your own. Jim was able to give us the information to make ancient Rome come alive. If you get the chance, take this tour. It was a little bit of a splurge but well worth it.

My wife, Miriam and I stayed with Luca at his fantastic B&B for 4 nights. Our stay was fantastic to say the least. Luca provided a great deal of incite of Rome, attractions and restaurants to attend. The B&B was in a great location and appointed beautifully. The breakfast, at Brown’s café around the corner was amazing, with fresh pastries out of the oven and the best cappuccinos ever. We highly recommend this B&B if you want comfort, location and guidance from someone who loves Rome and treats you like a friend.

Become Roman! This is Luca's, the owner, mantra. You will not meet a more personable and wonderful gentleman than Luca. Or for that matter his son Andrea. Together they provided the most intimate and memorable B&B experience of our entire monthlong trip through France and Italy. Luca makes it his personal goal to see that all his "friends" (what all guests are called) have not a tourist experience, but rather a true taste of what life is really like in Rome. From his personal recommendations for dinner ( you have to try Su e Giu Cucina Romana; with only 9 tables it feels as if you were invited to their home for supper) to tour preferances, to travel tips and sites to see, he only wish is that you experience the true Rome and enjoy yourself as his guest.

Rooms are well appointed, clean and very reasonably priced. The location is perfect. A short 10 minute walk to the Vatican, 20 minutes to the Pantheon and Trevi fountain area, and 5 minutes to the metro stop which then makes you just a short ride away from Michaelanglo's Moses, the Colosseum and many other must see attractions.

I would not hesitate for a second in recommending Rome Armony Suites to anyone looking for a truly unique and personal B&B experience. I hope that I will get to see my new friend again in the not too distant future. Thanks Luca and Andrea!

As they say, when in Rome, live like the Romans. That we certainly did. My husband and I can’t thank Luca enough for showing us the real Rome, away from the normal tourist traps. Luca treats you like a good friend and it’s great to be able to know a local in such a big city. The accommodation was modern, clean and comfortable, and in a great location being a short walk to some of Rome's most famous sites. This was the second time I had visited Rome and it was definitely the most enjoyable experience I had. My husband commented that he would choose Armony Suites again over any hotel in Rome. I agree with him.

If you ever decide to visit Rome, I highly recommend staying at Rome Armony Suites. The rooms feel like nice contemporary hotel rooms. It’s better than most 4-star and 5-star hotels in Europe! However, what really makes it so much better than any luxury hotel is the personal attention given by the owner, Luca.

People love Luca. Luca has a way of making you feel like you’re his best friend or a beloved family member. He was so great! On TripAdvisor.com his B&B is rated number #1 and he won the Travelers Choice 2012. One reviewer after another raves about this charming, helpful host. He's Roman through and through. He grew up in Rome and he's very proud of his city. He does hope that his guests will also try to go beyond the obvious sites and try to see the everyday Rome that he knows and loves (but he was also happy to help us figure out, say, the best way to get to the Colosseum, and he also likes to think strategically about which sites can be combined into a single day, taking into account walking distance, public transportation, opening hours, etc.).

With Luca’s help, we bought Vatican tickets online, so we were able to bypass the one-mile long line of people that wrapped around the Vatican Fortress. The Vatican was so crowded inside--apparently this is the norm, possibly exaggerated around Easter.

In addition, Luca and his son, Andrea, used Google Maps and a bunch of other tools to give us a virtual tour of the city, pointing out great, out-of-the-way, family-owned places to eat; quiet parks good for reflection; and places off the usual tourist-beaten paths. Luca helped us see “the real Rome,” and Rome Armony Suites was a nice, clean, welcoming homebase to do it from.

Stay at this B&B and let Luca teach you how in his words "To Be Roman". The rooms are as shown, clean, modern and an oasis in Rome. Shower pressure is awesome and the water nice and hot! The price is very reasonable for Rome and the location is close to the subway and bus system to make getting around Rome easy. Luca takes great pride in his B&B and helps his guests in anyway he can. He took time to orient us to the city, offered sightseeing tips, helped us find a restaurant our first night in Rome, and arranged for a cab when we had to leave. He is the type of person, who calls you his friend after knowing you only a short time and you feel like you are. Stay here, you won't regret it.
