We must admit we also had minor difficulties finding the place. So if you want to stay here; take note it's towards the end of Via Ratazzi if you're walking from Termini, you have to look for the small building number she gives you, then find Belhorizon on the list of buzzers next to the big double doors.
But we had a great stay! Sandra, the owner, was extremely helpful. As soon as we got there she got out a map of Rome and told us all the best places to see, eat and shop. She told us exactly how to get there (walking, metro, buses etc) and she also told us how to get to a great place just outside Rome which we didn't know much about, where a lot of the grand roman villas are. She booked us into her favourite restaurant which was also brilliant. All her recommendations were great.
It's in a good location- 10/15 minute walk from the Colosseum and 2 minute walk from Termini (the central bus/train station) .
The rooms seemed perfectly nice, someone commented on the TV being too high but you don't come to Rome to watch TV!
The breakfast was great. An amazing selection of pastries, fresh juice and coffee, toast, bread, fruit. Would recommend.
No private bathrooms but the shared bathroom (only shared between 2 rooms) was very very clean.

Sandra was such a helpful and graceful hostess. When we had a problem with our organised tours she called them and allowed us to use her phone to cal them. She was very helpful in pointing out places to go, as well as the usual ones and also where to eat locally, which were excellent quality and value. She told us which buses etc to get and where to catch them. Could not have been more helpful.

Room Tip: The room we had was comfortable and not noisy, we shared the family room. Bathroom was opposite and...

it was my first time in Rome. I made a resevation one week in advance. The owner called my cell phone to ask my arrival time. They do not have reception open 24 hours, so it is necessary to inform them about the arrival time. Anyway we had a good experience, the rooms are clean and owner very helpful. there is wify free connection and the hotel is just in the city centre. Underground metro very close, Colosseum walking distance. Rooms are clean. The prices are not high. finally i can suggest this accommodation.

this place is ok. the rooms are comfortable and clean, new linen and quite place. The personel helped us to find new places and they show the webspace belhorizonitaly facebook space where is possible to find info about some special touristic site that are delicious and not easy to find. We could go to the Saint Clemente Church wich is a churc of the 1300 built on another church of the IV century, wich has been built on a Roman House coming from the first century. It is a very amazing tour going underneath the ground discovering the house of the Roman Empire.
I recomend Sandra the owner wich is wonderful person and full of suggests to give to the tourist looking for some new place wich is not common.
Look for belhorizonitaly facebook page and you can see with your eyes.

This place is simple, but very convenient and easy to reach. Just 2 minutes walking from the main station. No problem, No Taxy. Just check the map before on the googlemaps and you can go directly to the B&B without problem. The location is in the city centre, close to Santa Maria Maggiore church (Is one of the 4 most popular and beautiful church). The underground is less then one minute walking. Colosseum around 10 minute walking. The b&b is ok and the owner avalaible to give you info and always ready to help.
I suggest to inform before the owner about arrival time. Reception is not always working

Me and my girlfriend had a very good time in Belhorizon, in Rome. Sandra the owner, every morning had always very good advice about the new location to visit. Specially, she sent us to the "Clivio Di Rocca Savella", a very beautiful and romantic street in the heart of Rome that look like to be in the countryside having a wonderful wiew on the Done of Vatican City. Believe even many roman people do not know this "secret" place. Sandra is the good value of Belhorizon
