“Slightly oily but tasty chicken and potatoes”
Reviewed October 4, 2013 via mobile

On business but with plenty of time to roam I came upon this place after visiting the Piazza del Popole.
It was not to busy at around19:30 so i was seated outside.
Service wasn't super fast but that was ok as I wasn't in a hurry.
I had the Chicken with potatoes 12.00 euro and a .4 ltr of the local draught 6.00 euro.
The chicken dish was slightly oily but still very tasty and well cooked.
The total bill came to 21 euro which included 1.50 for bread which is normal and 10% service charge which is not so normal for 1 person.

“Recommended by the Hotel, but well worth it.”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

We asked our concierge to recommend a good restaurant 10 mins away. He suggested this one. We were very warmly welcomed, having been back 2 weeks I have unfortunately forgotten his name but he was older and possibly head waiter or more? Very chatty, funny, warm with sufficient English. Food was excellent, the best meal we had in Rome but it was 'horses for courses' most nights pizza etc.. this night we wanted a tad more and got it.

“Not quite as nice as St Ana”
Reviewed September 21, 2013 via mobile

I just did a head to head comparison with St Ana just down the road on consecutive evenings. While the ante pasti here was very good, both the primo piatti and secondi piatti here were substantially smaller than at St Ana, albeit of marginally higher quality. So if you want a really nice (but massive 500g) fillet go to St Ana, but if you want a slightly better (but much smaller, 200g) fillet come here, you'll pay the same amount! You may also be told that service isn't included despite what it says on the bill, "it's a tax for the restaurant", was our waiter's excuse...

The service is great and friendly, food is unexpectedly delicious! Not another tourist place. Price is reasonable. Highly recommend!

“Best sea food”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

I had a great lunch during a Thunderstorm in Rome. Everything was great, sea food, pasta, bruschetta and the tiramisu was delicious. It was the best restaurant we tried in our holiday in Rome. I highly recommend it.
