I have lived in Italy for several years and tend to be very picky with restaurants, especially pizzerias. Al Forno della Soffitta was recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel when we asked for a place where we could eat some good pizza, and here we really did. The place in itself was simple and modest, but the pizza was really yummy! The prices were reasonable, too. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Excellent pizza, generous portions, reasonable prices (for Rome). We went twice because we liked it so much. You won't be disappointed if you eat here. Also, the waiters and the guys making the pizzas out in the main restaurant are very easy to look at.

Good pizza coked in a wood fire oven. Not the best pizza I ate on Roma but very good one with a thin crusty pasta and fresh ingredients.

Great services, friendly staff and amazing pizza. Our bill, pasta course, pizza each, desert and a bottle of wine was around €50, super value, massive portions and just so tasty. Was quiet when we arrived at 7.15, when we left at 9 it was full, with people waiting for tables. Lots of Italians eating there and clearly a few regulars. Decor not much to look at but the pizza, Neapolitan style, thick and cooked in a fire oven which dominates the restaurant, is worth taking a trip across Rome for, really the best pizza I've ever had. After a hard days sightseeing its perfect. About a 15 min walk from the main station.
