I stayed at Hip Suites for one night only. I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful, the room to be very clean and perfectly sized. There was air conditioning which was definitely a must during the heat of July! Located right in the quaint cobbled streets of Trastevere, their location is definitely a selling point. Breakfast is included, which I was looking forward to a croissant but only jam tarts and breakfast cereals were on offer (not a huge deal, I suppose, as it was so hot I lost my appetite). Overall I had a great stay, thank you!

I stayed here twice and I like it very much. I love Trastevere and if it is possible I will stay here in a futury surely. My room was small but I slept very well. Because the bed is really big and comfortable. The staff is sooooo friendly.

I went with my parents who are on the older side for 3 nights and had the apartment. The host Tomaso was very nice and extremely helpful in his restaurant suggestions and especially his tips and hints for how to visit vatican city and the colliseum in the best possible way with the least amount of time spent in line. The hotel is located in the heart trastevere, surrounded by dozens of wonderful restaurants and fun street performers and vendors. Highly recommend for all looking to visit Rome!

We stayed at the Hip Suites our first night in Italy prior to joining a tour group. I chose Hip Suites based on the reviews of others and was glad that I did. It was very clean, quiet (even though the street below was busy) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We did use their driver service and it made it very easy to get from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is located in the middle of Trastevere which is a busy little town across the river from Rome...many restaurants within close walking distance...also a yummy gelato place and entertainment. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet, clean place to rest your head.

You carnt go wrong booking this hotel, if you want a great location. Your walk out your front door ( Big large wooden doors, are the main entrance to this hotel). You are on a beautiful little cobblestone street, full of markets, shops, restaurants and bars. Two minutes walk to the river. The room itself is nice, but basic. The reason it is basic is because it has been left with a lot of character. There was three of us and the apartement was plenty big enough. My husband and I had the main bedroom and our 19 year old had the loft bed out in the kitchen area. There was another single fold away bed in our main bedroom. So if you are a family of 4, this apt would accomodate you all and it was very comfortable. We stayed 2 nights, and as for the noise it's not too bad. It certainally would not stop me from booking this hotel apartements again. Rome is very easy to get around and there are lots of good locations to stay. We stayed in two locations to get a different feel. The other location was near central train station, which was also good. The thing I loved most in this area though was the atmosphere which started the moment you walk out that BOLD BIG FRONT DOOR. Also they have one of the oldest elevators I have ever seen. Great character. We had the downstairs room on the left as you walk in and it had a little courtyard outback, for those who like to sit around, although in saying that if you want to sit around you are better of out on the street and enjoying all the happenings. Pretty quiet room this one as well!!!

Room tip: Fantastic location.
