Bad choice - from the sad-looking ivy in its hanging baskets, to the holes in the seats of its plastic chairs, I knew we should have chosen somewhere else for lunch. Pizza marguerita was really not good, my salad was just lumps of mozzarella, tomatoes and olives lumped into a bowl (and not too well drained either), and the penne all'arrabbiata looked and tasted worse than if it had come out of a jar. Maybe they were just having an off day. And you can see a bit of the Colosseum if you're sitting outside...

Stayed on via ostilla and liked the look of this place despite its close proximity to the colosseum.
We had good fun with the waiters who were very cheerful. There were 5 of us & for dinner including wine starters dessert and coffee - the bill came to €180. We had a mix including lasanga, pasta with shellfish, pizza & steak and everyone was more than satisfied. Tiramisu was to die for!! We did end up coming back here another night during our stay

We originally choose this restaurant as it was close to the colosseum but was so impressed that we ate there twice. No hidden extras and no tourist menu. It was just a good meal with good service.

We ate here 3 times - twice for lunch and once for dinner- the food was really good - we had a variety of pasta and the seafood risotto which was delicious. The staff were really accommodating of our 10 year old and happy to mix up the type of pasta and sauce to suit his choice.

Birthday trip to Rome was fantastic, the things that made it great was the people we met and the places we ate Pasqualino's had both. Fantastic friendly atmosphere with delicious food.
