Service was very friendly but that was about the only advantage to this place. Food served was very bland, our waiter also got the order wrong twice. Atmosphere was rather poor I must say.....would not return here again

If you're walking around the area near the Piazza Novana or the Pantheon in Rome definitely stop into Le Volte to recharge, refuel and relax. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was tasty and the night was warm. At night it's laid back and the people are enjoying La Dolce Vita. We've already gone back twice.

This little place is very near the Pantheon but really feels off the beaten path of tourists. We had great service with a very reasonably priced bottle of red. The highlight was the pizza. It was excellent! We returned two nights later just for the pizza. Great little restaurant!

Le Volte is situated 2 quarters up from Pantheon, or a 5min walk. The restaurant have seats both outside and inside, and the surroundings are much more quiet than just a block a away.

I dined there with my wife and we where seated outside, and enjoyed a starter and entree along as well as charming and attentative staff.

The meny was a typical upperscale italian menu with regards to selection and the winelist had plenty of nice reds and whites. I asked for a red served in glass and could choose from meny different types and qualities.

We both choose starters a dryed and cured ham - both very nice indeed - and we ended up with a pizza. I have read that their pizzas are supposed to be above average and cannot but agree. We hade a great evening, and enjoyed the meal and service very much.

It is definetly worth the 5min walk compared to the buzz and chaos a pantheon and the main waling streets,

Our hotel, Hotel Artemide, on Via Nazionale, booked us a table (for 5) one hour in advance so that we could meander and walk our way past the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. When we arrive (right on time) the host (very nice) told us it would be two minutes and asked us to wait inside. After 20 minutes, we finally got up to put some pressure on getting a table - it wouldn't have been a problem to wait, but our three small children were growing very impatient. We were finally seated nearly 30 minutes after our scheduled time. I have to say, that the food was exceptional, and the staff was delightful -- the host just need to know how to set better expectations (he was however, appropriately apologetic). The mushroom pizza was fantastic and my pasta with scampi had some of the best favors on the planet - I don't know how they did it, but it tasted as if they slow cooked it in the wood fire oven - amazing!
