If you are on a tight budget stay away or make sure that you limit yourself as you can get easily carried away by the waiter and the atmosphere. The restaurant is very nice and offers fresh fishes that you select when you enter the restaurant and are sold by 100 grams. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent, knowledgable and attentive to your needs and taste. This goes as well for the wine service. The advises might sometimes steer you towards some of the more expensive item on the menu so be careful but if you do so it is well worth a visit..

Arrived there at 8:30?and our group of 3 was the first one in hotel but we were ushered all the way back, which we did not accept nor the narrow passage way. We were not given a table in the front main room. Once we told them we will leave, suddenly all workers were full of smiles and we were given a nice table in adjacent wine room. As soon as we sat down, onslaught began to order wine at once, pushing us to order food and fish. There is only one English speaking server. I had to give him instructions about how we're going to order and we don't like being rushed or pushed food on us. This did the trick. From this point on every second here was enjoyable. We ordered Scilian white, a vineyard we know of. Appetizers were good, not fantastic. Pasta with fish was great. We were so full that we did not get fish plate. Our bill for 3 of us was 180 Euros. So the place is expensive.
In 45 minutes of our arrival the place was full and buzzing. Almost all folks were local and well dressed. Please enjoy food here but do not let them push you around.

This has been the most remarkable dining experience in a week eating at Rome's best restaurants. You pass crates if fresh fish upon entering a space that is vibrating with hundreds of chic diners. The waiter implored me to have the 6 plate "appetizer". It was enough for a full meal with great variety and most unusual choices: very small clams, calamari with potatoes, a fish based round dumpling, octopus, st Pierre and one I can't recall. All were extraordinary! I avoided the entrees priced by weight. This is the most popular place I have dined at in a week here in Rome. What a unique experience!

The food was very good wih decent general ambiance. Try the risotto nero and the lobster. Some tables for couples can be very cramped make sure to reserve a larger space. Very pricy on some dishes and the wines. Enjoy

I know this place since years but during the last years I could never make to go! Even though they changed address and name in the meanwhile there's one thing that lasts forever, the fish is alive! Even too much! The most fresh recently caught fish I have ever eaten! When you go just ask for a billion appetizers and let them do the rest!!!
