Nice food at really cheap prices.
The place is not far away from the Colosseum and is definitely worth your time.
I went there with my girlfriend and we paid around 10 Euros each for a pizza and a beer.

I first heard about Vecchia Roma about eight years ago when my professor recommended it to me while studying abroad. I have been coming back ever since. I have only ordered primi (pasta), but they have all been delicious. It opens at 7:00 pm for dinner service (we got there around 7:30), by the time we left, there was a line out the door. We were greeted with bruschette on the house! The entire wait staff was very friendly. The prices are low which is another plus.

Cosy restaurant with simple Italian cuisine. Started with a tomato bruscetta. Since this is Italy, the tomatoes do actually have more flavour. After that, I ate home mada pasta with cheese and lots of peper. My friend took the lasagne which was also very simple but well prepared. Also ordered one liter of white wine, but didn't liked it. But only paid 30 euro for a simple 2 persons lunch!

Great dinner. The cheapest but the most original one.. The food is gooood!!! I got pasta and some cheese. They even give you bruschetta right when you sit.. Great place!

Came here fairly late one evening and it was still packed and buzzing. Lovely family restaurant with friendly (but not overbearing) service. Food was excellent and remarkably cheap. We had starters, pasta, water and a whole litre of wine for 23 euros. Worth a visit.
