We have just returned from a weeks stay at Iq Hotel Roma and it was excellent. It is in a prime location for exploring the city you can pretty much walk everywhere from here, but if you don't want to walk the metro station is just around the corner. We stayed in a small double and the rest of our party stayed in a triple. Our room was perfectly sized for the two of us, contemporary decoration, clean and everthing brand new. The room was made up everyday, on the days when we didn't get up so early we would put out the "do not disturb" sign, and take it off after we left and our room was cleaned when we got back. Our bathroom was a good size with a nice shower and clean, soft towels. The triple that the rest of our party stayed in even had a nice sized bath. On the 1st night we had a problem with our inroom safe so we reported it at the reception and there was someone at our room to fix it before we even got back! The staff are always on hand to help whether its something to do with the hotel or you want a table booking at a restaurant. The amenities on offer are very good too. On the 1st, 3rd and 5th floor there are vending machines selling hot drinks for 50cents, bottled and canned soft drinks from 50cents and snacks from €1. On the 5th floor there is also a vending machine selling alcoholic drinks with lager from €2.50 and bottles of wine from €4, very reasonable when you will easily pay €5 in most bars and restaurants for a glass of wine! The roof terrace is comfortable and clean and open 24hrs. The 4th floor has a further machine selling toiletries and other bits and on the first floor is a well equipped gym and sauna. You can get breakfast for €10 at the hotel, its buffet style with fruit, cereal, bread, meats and cheese, but also serves scrambled eggs and bacon! I would definately recommend this hotel and would use it again if we go back. Excellent!

iQ Hotel Roma is a perfect choice for independent travellers who want to discover Rome on their own. The location is excellent - only a ten-minute walk from the Termini station. The hotel is also very close to major sights and it is easy to walk everywhere from the hotel although the metro is nearby too.
The rooms are big enough and very clean and comfortable. The hotel offers extra services like vending machines with very reasonable prices and a roof garden on top floor. We enjoyed sitting in the roof garden after a hard day of sightseeing. The rooms also include a mini fridge. The bathroom is excellent with a perfect shower, easy to use and it works beautifully!
The hotel has a really good buffet breakfast and on our holiday they were kind enough to arrange gluten free bread at breakfast. There are lots of shops, some restaurants and a couple of supermarkets in the area. The street is really quiet and at night you have no idea you are in the centre of a major city.
A big part of a happy holiday is a comfortable hotel that you can return to after a long day and iQ Hotel Roma was definitely this. It was also nice that if you still had energy left in the evening you had no trouble walking for example to the Spanish Steps or Fontana di Trevi to have another look around. We are definitely going back to this hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the IQ Hotel Roma for a two night stay in Rome. The room was very modern, clean, and stylish. The bathroom was very nice as well. The hotel offered all types of amenities - business center, gym etc as well. We were on an almost 2 week trip and this hotel was the nicest we stayed in during our travels. The staff were wonderful - always very helpful. The location is fairly central. We walked everywhere - including from the main train station when we arrived. If you arrive in Rome by train, be sure to save the money on a cab and walk to the hotel.

When I booked this hotel 4 months ago, I was a bit skeptical as it was still brand new and there weren't much reviews and was not even in the top 10 list, but before I left to Rome, I found out that our hotel was ranked #1! The staff at the hotel was really friendly, every time we walked by they would acknowledge us. This is my second time to Rome and this hotel was located at a central location near Republica station (I recommend going to this one over Termini if your destination is on that metro line), Rooms were clean and there was vending machines everywhere which was convenient.

The beds were a bit hard as both of us find it a bit hard to sleep through the night without tossing and turning and waking each other up. The free wireless internet was very slow and we got disconnected alot and some areas in the room the wireless would not work. We had our "do not disturb" sign/button on that day and we did not want our towels changed or beds made. I usually put valuables and clothing aside if I want our room cleaned. But that day we didn't feel like we needed it so I left everything laying around (including socks, undergarments). However when we came back to the hotel, our room was cleaned and beds were made. So the do not disturb sign was ignored. The other thing was we booked a private car from hotel to airport for 52 euros as our flight was on Sunday morning at 6am. We were under the impression that they will bill us when we checked out and we spent most of our cash and carried only 30 euros with us. At the time of the check out, I asked the hotel staff and t hey said we have to pay the driver directly and t he driver did not take credit card, only cash. The driver did not speak english but he drove us to three different bank machines before we could find one that worked. IT was a last minute panic as we had to catch our flight while trying to find a bank machine that worked at 4am in the morning to pay our driver.

Other than those minor things, our experience at the hotel was great and I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a place that is reasonably priced, clean, friendly staff with a good location.

Could not have been happier with the IQ Hotel Roma. From the location which is close to The main train station and subway line to the roof top garden for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Staff was always there to help out and give direction. The rooms had everything you would expect and they offered a Great breakfast. Perfect place to rest and explore Rome from.

Perfect location, very close to Termini station and walking distance to many sites. Staff are extremely helpful and attentive. We were upgraded as we arrived a little early and our room wasn't ready. Room was spacious, very clean and hotel facilities were fantastic. Highly recommended!

Yes, I just returned from the IQ Hotel and we had two rooms booked one for my SIL and BIL and we all loved the hotel. Very modern and fairly spacious room with firm mattress that we loved. The only thing that could improve is the shower. The shower did not have curtains nor any walls so it was so easy to get everything slightly wet outside the shower area. The staff are soooo nice and spoke perfect English. They were very kind and generous as well. They also had a very nice business centre as well. The location is away from all the main tourist sites and we would have liked to venture back to the centre of Rome to see all the sites light up but we were just too tired. Other than that, this location is fine with enough restaurants around and the close to the subway line. So everything you read on this site about the IQ is for real. It is really nice and clean and I have high standards.
