This hotel has thought of everthing a good size business centre that is free, washing machines, a gym, rooftop garden, vending machines with drinks, food, nicknaks and alcohol. The rooms are modern and clean and the staff are fantastic. Makes for a very comfortable stay

After LOTS of deliberating I booked this hotel as part of a surprise week away in Rome for my wife and I on our first wedding anniversary.

The hotel is in a perfect location for sightseeing. Most sights are within walking distance, however, my wife has a back problem so we wanted to cut down the walking as far as possible.... and this is where the hotel came into its own. Being close to the Termini station you can easily find a bus going to the bit of the city you are interested in or jump on the metro at Termini or Repubblica. The staff were great at helping us with which bus we needed.

The hotel itself is new and looks fantastic. The web site gave me the impression it might be a bit basic with few staff around to help. This wasn't the case. There were plenty of staff and they were all very helpfull. For example, initially there had been a misunderstanding about when we could check-in, but the young lady was quick to resolve the situation.

All rooms have controllable air con a fridge and a TV. We booked one of the larger double rooms... and it was plenty big enough. One of the small rooms would have been fine really, however, in our larger room we had a bath rather than just a shower..... great for the wife to soak in in order to ease her back off after a long day of sightseeing. The TV was perhaps a little small for the room, but in all fairness, we weren't there to watch TV!

There is a lovely terraced area at the top of the building. Perfect for drinking beers purchased from the Spa (just a short walk away). We kept our drinks (not just beer!) cool using the handy fridge in our room. There are vending machines throughout the hotel and ice machines. The vending machines are reasonably priced, except I think for the alcohol. I'd strongly advise people to purchase from the Spa.

The breakfast was great, although possibly a tad overpriced at 10Euros per person per day.

The business centre was very handy. Free PC's with internet connections! Also, there was a printer. Not sure if you had to pay for this though.

The gym was a tad small but if you insist on doing a workout, there's certainly enough kit there for even the most hardcore gym enthusiast!

If I were to go back to Rome soon, I'd definitely go back to the iQ hotel. It was amazing!

I was blown away by the IQ Hotel, it's modern, spotless and very comfortable. I was expecting some sort of do-it-yourself establishment but by the contrary the Hotel has enough staff to help you at all times. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with electronic lock and light control, temperature control, flat screen TV with free international channels, free Wi Fi throughout the hotel, big safe box, and 110v built -in converter in the bathroom.

The location is unbeatable; across the street from the Opera palace and steps to Via Nazionale and Metro station Republica, also the Termini Train Station is a 5 minutes walk.

At check in you receive a booklet with a map of the property and very useful information. The hotel has a spectacular terrace, gym, sauna, children playground, breakfast zone, easy bar, laundry room (coin machines), and vending machines at very very reasonable prices for drinks, snacks, alcoholic beverages and the best coffee machine ever.

The breakfast buffet is amazing, offering a great variety of fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, espresso machines with fresh ground coffee, scramble eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, sausages, hams, mortadella, salami, cheese, all sort of breads and pastries. A very good refuel to start a busy day in Rome.

The staff was always courteous and ready to help with a big smile, it seems that they enjoy their jobs. All of them speak very good English. I'd like to thank specially to Melanie and Hazram for their excellent customer service and their help dealing with the delivery of my delayed luggage.

I really want to congratulate all the staff of IQ hotel for their excellent service and highly recommend it for your trips to Rome. I'll definitely stay with you again on my next trip.

This hotel is a brand new hotel, so it was very clean and everything was shiny. The hotel staff was very kind and willing to help. The only thing that I wished this hotel offered was free breakfast since most hotels in Rome include free breakfast.

Hotel IQ Roma is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I cannot find a fault with this new hotel. All the staff are a credit to the manager/hotel they go out of their way to help guests.
Check in was very swift - we were really pleased to get an upgrade to a larger double room each.
The hotel is spotless - very well cleaned and the facilities are great.

The rooms and whole hotel have air conditioning - essential in the July heat.
The rooms are spacious, clean and have comfy beds with memory foam mattress. The TV is widescreen and has a large amount if channels. The mini fridge is very useful - we stocked up on food/drinks and saved lots of money that way (supermarket in the road behind the hotel) There is a laptop sized safe and free wifi in the room.
The bathroom had a large shower with 2 showerheads in, soap is provided and plenty of towels and a hairdryer.

Around the hotel there is a business centre with 7 computers and a printer - this is all free. We did not use the gym but it looked well equipped. On level 4 there is a microwave and several vending areas are around the hotel plus well priced drinks/snacks. Laundry room is useful 1 washer, dryer and iron.

Nice roof terrace, plenty of seating. We did not use the breakfast room but it did look very good.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Rome; the area was safe and well lit. Close to the trains/metro/bus.

I cannot find one fault with the hotel it is just fantastic and Im sure all reviews will be positive!

I would stay there again if in Rome.

we came from Athens Greece. this was a brand new hotel with very friendly staff and a location that is close to everywhere. everyone was up on helping in everything we demanded. to have the right hotel is the key on having a good vacation. We stayed for 7 days and this was the hotel to stay at!! We recommend this to anyone. The Vending machine idea works great for after hour snacks and drinks.. Room was cleaned everyday and smelled like new! THis is a well worth 4 star hotel ...
