My husband and I just returned from Rome and we stayed 3 nights at iQ. It was a very pleasant stay, great hotel with a great location - close to 2 metro stations and to sights (a comfortable 15 minutes walk to the Spanish Steps). The room was clean and had a refreshment vending machine located on alternate floors. Good gym and sauna facilities. Had avaiIable a washing machine and dryer (3 Euros for each use) and ironing facilities (FOC). Would recommend including the breakfast option into your booking as the selection was well worth it.

We stayed for 3 nights at this Hotel and we loved it.
The Hotel is a 10 min walk from the Termini station and very central to all sites. 20 min walk to the Colosseum, 20 min walk to the Trevi Fountain etc.
It was very clean, the bathroom was spacious and clean and both my partner and I were very surprised to find that we had a balcony overlooking the Opera Theatre - a really lovely surprise. We stayed in room 421, overlooking the street and at night there was no noise and the curtains in the room really are black-out curtains!
The roof-top terrace was a quiet retreat of an evening and a welcome place to sit and relax after a long day of site-seeing. The vending machines on the 5th floor are reasonably priced for drinks.
My partner visited the sauna while we were there and said it was very clean and a welcome treat.
The Hotel offers a breakfast buffet and it was well worth the 10 euro's. There was a wide choice of food available and it was all fresh.
The staff were very polite and helpful.
If we do get the chance to go back to Rome we will definitely stay here again.

Only spent one night here and it was good. Modern rooms, clean, comfortable bed, good lightning and very spacious bathroom. We left very early in the morning to look around the city before leaving for the airport and were allowed to leave our bags in the storage which was good. There's a couple of good restaurants around that are open til 1am (if you arrive late in the city).
Tried using the self-checkout computers but none of them worked though. The hotel is also very close to Termini station.

Room Tip: Maybe try and get a room with an outside view (I got one with a view to the hotel atrium inside)

Me and my wife were there, after selecting it via tripadvisor recommendations, and indeed it excelled.

This hotel is very comfortably located within walking distance of termini, the historical center and almost any major attraction in Rome. Metro is also very close.

The hotel is shiny clean, rooms are comfortable and large, free good wifi.
Staff are helpful and recommended some nice restaurants around. Breakfast is delicious and with wide verity.

The only thing I would improve is the bed hardness, too hard for my taste.

Otherwise it's unbeatable for comfort, location and value, no wonder it's rated so high!

Room Tip: We had a room that faces the center patio, was quite and had smoking veranda few meters away.

Now that we are settled in back at home, I had to write to express our thanks for the wonderful stay we had at your hotel.

We stayed in rooms 321 & 322 and our party contained 3 generations: grandmother, husband & wife and 14 year-old teenager, a combination that could have been a disaster if we had had to cope with difficult circumstances. That trip was the first trip our family had taken to a foreign country. so we were all very apprehensive about how difficult and stressful our lives would be during our visit.

Fortunately, we selected a perfect hotel to help ease our concerns. Everyone on your staff spoke wonderful and clear English, which is a big deal for us since our ability in Italian is extremely limited. Every time we contacted your staff for a minor problem, the situation was handled very promptly and in a very courteous manner.......something many American hotels could improve on. On one night, your staff was even courteous after handling some rude abuse from another American guest.

Although Rome is a pretty noisy place......lots of people, motorscooters, horn-honking, pavement and buildings, with very few trees or greenery to absorb the noise......our room at night was amazingly quiet. The hotel is only 1 block from Via Nazionale, a very busy street, but none of us ever heard noise that ruined our sleep. And the advertized black-out curtains ----really WERE black out curtains. Our room faced east but we had to open the curtains to tell what time of day it was. Sunlight never woke us up either, although I think jet lag would help most people sleep soudly for at least the first two nights in Rome.

At home I am ordinarily a light sleeper, so either the sunlight or street noise would have ended my sleeptime. From this location, we were able to walk everywhere in central Rome. It looked too far away on the map, but after our tour of the Vatican museums, we walked back to the hotel without problem or complaining, including my 80 year-old mother and teenage daughter. We were able to walk to Termini (the most entertaining homeless people) in about 10 minutes, and from there we caught the train to Florence and also the hop-on, hop-off tour busses (highly recommended.)

Several of my wife's customers have mentioned that they will be traveling to Rome during the next year. We are gladly telling them about a great place to stay while in Rome, your iQ Hotel.

The one negative......I don't think your dryer is properly vented. Although the clothes got very warm after 40 minutes in the dryer, they were surprisingly un-dry. The ironing board was appreciated, however, so don't get rid of that.

Thank you all again

Room Tip: The east side of the hotel faces the opera house.
