Good size room with huge bathroom! Friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast is not included but a good way to start your day. Walkable to Trevi fountain, colosseum, pantheon. Would stay here again and highly recommend!

Great location - 10 minutes walk from Termini train station which is a 30 min train journey (express train) from Fiumicino Airport. Alternatively there's the metro to Republica which is 5 minutes walk away. You can walk from the hotel to pretty much all the main sights within 15-25 minutes.

Facilities - rooms were of a good size, with excellent modern bathrooms, and spotlessly clean. My only criticism is that the bed was a little hard after a couple of nights. Outside of the room I was very impressed by the set up - if you want basic facilities like drinks, snacks and even alcohol, all are provided from vending machines located throughout the hotel at pretty reasonable prices. Wifi is free and reliable with a good signal in our room. There's also a free safe in your room, and a small empty fridge per room again free to use.

Breakfast wasn't included in our rate, but we opted for it any way - it was €10 Euro per day per head, but the spread is fresh and excellent (fresh fruit, bread, pastries, cooked breakfast, good quality coffee machines that do all the usual variants) and if you need more than one coffee to start your day no bad value either!

Finally, the service is polite and efficient. Overall a good bet for a comfortable stay in a big City and reasonable value for money.

iQ Hotel Roma was the only non-chain hotel we stayed in while in Europe and the room was the largest of all hotels. The bed was comfortable and clean. It is close to the subway, which is nice, but pretty far from Vatican City and other major highlights in Rome. We arrived before our room was ready, so we dropped our bags off in the bag check and went sightseeing, which was nice. We also had to check out the next morning and was allowed to keep our bags in the bag check. A plus when you only spend 36 hours in Rome!

Our room at the iQ Hotel Roma was very comfortable and clean - and a decent size for European hotel rooms. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was great for us - not too far at all from some of Rome's attractions and the train station, but not in an overly touristy/busy/noisy neighborhood. Wasn't our cheapest hotel this trip, but we were pleased with the value and overall quality. We'd probably stay here again.

We spent our last night in Rome in iQ Hotel since we had an early morning flight and it was close to the train station. It was clean, modern, and comfortable. The rooms are fairly low-frills, though the hotel itself had a boutique feel. A HUGE bonus was that it had a fully enclosed shower rather than a half-swinging door--we really appreciated this after inadvertently having minor flooding of previous bathrooms during showers . Staff was friendly. The hotel had nice amenities, including a wonderful rooftop patio and a nice fitness room. The potential downsides (though these weren't a big deal to us given our circumstance: 1) breakfast wasn't included in the room rate, perhaps to keep costs down and 2) it's a bit far from the sites most tourists want to see. That said, it was exactly what we were looking for. Overall, a great deal.

Stayed here with my family week before Easter. I'm not going to repeat what others have already said. It's really a nice place to stay for the price. Plug in the bathroom converts to US or European voltage and you don't need adapter. Breakfast buffet is really a good deal if you're in the mood for pastry and more than one cup of coffee/expresso/cappucino.

One thing to note. It was cloudy and cool the week we visited, we slept with window open on a high floor so we were comfortable without much noise. If you're coming in the summer you should know its not traditional A/C. They circulate cool water in pipes that run through the rooms. The concierge said some people complain it is not cool enough.

My sister and I stayed at IQ Roma at the beginning of March and were very impressed!!!!!
Great location, IQ Roma is a 10 minute walk (if that!) from Termini station (direct access to the Fuimicino Airport by train). Most historical sights are within a comfortable walking distance. We got the metro to the Vatican (only a few stops away!) and bought an all day metro ticket (approx €6 but well worth it. Can travel as many times using the same ticket throughout the day).
We were greeted by friendly and efficient staff at the welcome desk and they were very helpful in pointing out the main tourist attractions on a map for us. We quickly got our bearings and could easily navigate ourselves around the city. (city map provided by the hotel is the best one by far!!! Recommended)
The rooms are basic but spotless! Cleaners do a great job. Modern bathroom with power shower. Complimentary toiletries and fresh towels every day. We had a balcony (4th floor) which makes for a brighter and airier room. Rooms are generally quite warm.
Safe is provided free of charge and is easy to use!
Mini fridge provided for personal use. We really did make use of this (buying snacks and drinks from the nearby Spar supermarket!). Made you feel very relaxed and "at home".
We didn't choose to have breakfast at the hotel, but only €10 per person, per day. There is a breakfast room which looked inviting and plentiful on passing.
Vending machines available for coffee, alcohol, soft drinks, snacks. **Wine in vending machine is cheap from only €6 a bottle.** Can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening on the roof terrace come rain or shine!!! Vending machines also take euro notes, handy if you don't have the correct change... We loved the coffee from the machine! 50 cents. Cups also for sale in the vending machine, but worth keeping hold of plastic cups provided by cleaner in the bathroom of the hotel room. :-)
Phones next to vending machines in case of things getting stuck. This happened to us once but used the phone to call reception and someone was there in a flash!
Can arrange to hold baggage in a room in reception if you want to make the most of the day after checking out.
Surrounded by lots of restaurants and shops. Really can't stress enough the great central location of this hotel!
We would definitely stay here again on our next return to Rome!

Room Tip: Higher floors less noise. Some rooms on floor 4 have balcony - makes for a brighter and airier room!
