Great location, easy walking distance to most of the major Rome attractions. It's on a small, quaint, quiet street, yet just a couple blocks from the bustling Piazza del Popolo. Near lots of upscale clothing stores & boutiques. Our room was large by European standards (we had a double deluxe - room 201). Huge bathroom with walk-in shower & separate tub. Nespresso machine was a nice feature. Great rooftop area for breakfast & nightly wine reception. Excellent restaurant & cab arrangements provided by the front desk. The whole place has a mod, friendly vibe, & we would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. It was in a perfect location on a beautiful street with amazing shopping. It was walking distance to the spanish steps, Trevi fountain and much more. The rooms were modern clean and very spacious. They also recommended great restaurants including our favorite taverna trilussa which had the most amazing pasta we've ever had, and coming from NYC we are very spoiled with Italian food. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. When we return to Rome we will def stay there again!!

The Babuino 181 is not the place to stay if you want a big hotel with a lounge and restaurants etc. However, if you want to stay somewhere where you feel like you have booked a flat rather than a hotel room then this is where to stay. The room was big and the shower wonderful and at the end of the day (and during it) it felt like we were going home to relax rather than to a hotel room.

We finished our 3 week Italia itinerary here. Great location near Piazza De Popolo. We walked everywhere from here, even to the Vatican and when taxi was needed, a few steps to the Piazza de Popolo to grab a cab. Nice, clean spacious rooms. Modern design, comfortable beds and all the amenities that you would like in a boutique hotel. Breakfast on the roof top terrace was lovely. We were too late to enjoy the evening refreshments roof top, but look forward to the next time to make time. We also did the shuttle to the airport. 4 of us with 4 suitcases and the van was spacious for all of us worked out well. More expensive than a taxi, but for the space we needed worked well for us. Water and coffee bar with sitting room located on the second floor available any time was appreciated. Good value for what you received.

After travelling around Italy for a couple of weeks we finished our trip at the lovely Babuino 181. It was really handy, a short walk from the Metro, Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps.
The room was lovely, with a fabulous shower, flat screen TV and of course the Nespresso machine.
The water in the minibar was free, along with the Nespresso, and each evening there were free drinks on the rooftop terrace. You could also have your breakfast here, but we didn't have it, so I can't comment on it.
Overall, a fabulous, modern hotel in a great location and a haven from the hustle and bustle of Rome. Recommended!
