“Great Time in Rome”
Reviewed July 25, 2014

Traveling as a family of 7 that includes younger children, private tours are the best way to go for convenience and flexibility. Prior to our trip to Rome we researched through Trip Advisor the top companies in Rome. We decided that Easy Italy had the tours and the schedule that best suited our time frame. The company had great reviews and after meeting 2 of the company tour guides, we can say that the reviews are accurate! We first meet Massimo when he picked us up at our hotel. He was on time and had taxi service ready for our group. We were jet lagged and he worked us through the Vatican and managed to keep all of us, kids included, involved and entertained with his knowledge and enthusiasm for the sites. He knew his way around the museum and took us off the beaten path for some of the sites the children would love the best. He wouldn't just teach you about a particular piece of art, he would then use his ipad to refresh your memory of the art work you just saw and how it connected or was interwoven in the history of the next work of art you saw in another gallery. It was pretty cool and he seemed to have endless knowledge of the subjects, endless patience with the children and endless tolerance of all of our questions.
Our next day was spent with Marco for a city tour. He was again on time to our hotel. His van was comfortable for all of us. His ability to drive through Rome's crazy traffic was amazing. He grew up not far from our hotel and some of the sites he took us to were made even more fun because he could relate to the kids how he grew up near by playing. He gave us a huge history lesson on not only old Rome, but current Rome and how families live today. I don't think there was a site we didn't see in the city. Since we were in a private car vs a large tour bus, we were able to weave through places that buses can't go. The kids especially liked how he worked us over to the cannon fire at noon.
Emails with the company were easy. Our whole experience was perfect. Cost compared to the tours offered via our cruise company were so much more economical and again with children, a private tour makes life so much more relaxed. Both tour guides were easy going and so accepting of the kids that everyone had a great stay in Rome.

“Day in Umbria”
Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

We had a marvelous day in Orvieto and Umbria. The day was flawless.
Max Rocca is a truly gifted and friendly guide. These mid evil mountain top towns/cities are amazingly beautiful and a great break from the hustle of Rome. Strolling the streets, stopping for a pleasant lunch with some fine local wine made for a truly pleasant day. Max was pleasant, informative and made us feel like a visiting friend from the states. The tour provided us with enough time to enjoy the countryside, see the sites and have a really relaxing tour. The company and Max made for a great experience. Very glad we did this and would highly recommend the tour and the company.

“Favorite day on our vacation!”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

I am writing this review with the same enthusiasm as everyone else who has toured with Easitalytours. I recently returned from a cruise vacation with my husband and 2 sons (15 and 16). I decided Rome was best tackled with a private tour for the day and I was not wrong! Silvia, who I booked the tour with was terrific! The on-line service was prompt, clear and helpful. Thank you Silvia!! Our driver, Marco, was lovely and welcoming. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. Marco's recommendation for lunch, gelato and a coffee stop made the day! The food was exceptional and gave us a real taste of Italian food and culture. We managed to see many of the highlights the city of Rome has to offer without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. We were passed on to Massimo at the Vatican to take us through our private tour of the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to do the Vatican Museum so this is an excuse to return to this amazing city! Massimo was extraordinary!! My sons were as mesmerized as we were at his knowledge. He is virtually a walking historian/encyclopaedia of Roman religion, history and culture. Thank you Easitalytours for one of our most memorable days spent on our vacation. This tour was worth every penny and I will highly recommend your company going forward.

“Worth every euro!”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

From the initial correspondence with Sylvia to our drop off at the airport, it was great! We used this company for airport transportation, the all day Rome tour, the Vatican tour, and the Pompeii/Amalfi Coast tour and it was money well spent. The vehicles used were clean and the guides were friendly, informative and English speaking. Antonello (the company President) was our guide in Rome and he was enthusiastic, courteous and extremely knowledgeable! I came across this company by chance as the tour guide recommended to me was already booked. I was not disappointed in the least and highly recommend Easitalytours for any of your tours. I cannot say enough about how easy it was working with Sylvia to set everything up for our trip. Even when we missed our connecting flight to Rome and were 2-1/2 hours late, there was no problem with the driver being at the airport waiting for us. Truly a "customer friendly" company.

“Great day trip to Pompeii and amalfi coast”
Reviewed July 23, 2014

Private day trip for two to Pompeii and almafi coast. Excellent driver (Max) who was interesting to chat with on the drive and knew a lot about history of the areas we were travelling through but also was able to answer all of our what's that? Questions driving along. Great tour of Pompeii with accredited guide and then a scenic drive along the amalfi coast. Day didn't feel long at all.

Would unconditionally recommend. Highly professional company, new van, safe engaging driver, easy office to deal with, registered guide in Pompeii. Great day!
