“get their advice, sit back, and eat!”

This is a Sardenian seafood restaurant and it's excellent. A friend of ours from Rome recommended that we go there and ask the waiters what we should order. We did that and it was excellent. The raw fish plate was our favorite. The Sardenian house wine was also very nice. We are still in Rome and we might go back on our last night.

“One of my best meals ever.”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

Eleonora d'Arborea is a must visit when I'm in Rome. What else is there to say: the food and service are fantastic and what one hopes for when dining out. If you can't find what you like on the menu speak to Francesco and he'll create something that you will long remember. The service is top notch and one of the main reasons I recommend this restaurant to my friends and clients. If you are looking to celebrate a special event or treat yourself to an experience you'll remember forever, do it! Buon Appetit!

“Good food and good service”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

I liked the atmosphere. The service was good and the food was great. There was a prepared menu, which contained a bit too much raw fish for me, but what do you expect from a fish restaurant.

“Nice restaurant only go if you have a resrvation”
Reviewed February 7, 2014 via mobile

The place is not really visible, this is the kind of restaurant you don't go by chance, you need to know the place and have directions to get there. Parking is really a challenge so driving is discouraged, take a taxi, in the past the restaurant had an agreement with a private parking lot nearby, but it seems the agreement is no longer in place and you have to pay a fee which in Rome is never cheap. That said the place is really worth going, this is a seafood place, one of few places downtown where you can have excellent lobster and fantastic selection of seafood starters. Pasta is very good but not a lot of fantasy in the recipes, very well executed but not surpraising. Quality of seafood and fish is very high and every night there is a different selection. Lobster catalana is highly reccomended, good selection of wines. Desert are in the average band for Rome. Price is not cheap but aligned with the quality of served food and all in all more than reasonable. The environemt is informal and nice, some times expeciallynduring the week ends can be quite crowded, resrvation is always a must.
