“Wonderful service -- expensive, but good value nevertheless”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2013

This is a wonderful seafood restaurant. They've given my family of 2 adults and two small children fast and friendly service every time we've been there.

The food is great -- expensive, but the portions are large, made from fresh seafood, and very delicious. I order the mixed hot-cold (raw) appetizers for one for 25 Euros every time, and it always ends up being more than enough for my whole family -- and it was all wonderfully fresh, of course.

Everything we've had, from the appetizers to the fried calamari to the risotto with seafood to the sea bass and the sword fish have been consistently fresh, perfectly seasoned, and just very delicious every time.

This is not the sort of place for non-seafood lovers, however. Fortunately, my wife and I are both seafood fans, so we come here at least every couple of months and on special occasions.

“Surprisingly Sardinian!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2013

I went the other night with a colleague as it was close to our hotel and recommended via Trip Advisor. Although there are some negative comments made, we enjoyed it and thought the food very good, although neither of us ordered anything particularly exciting. The pasta, however, was fresh, the sauces nice and the complimentary after dinner Sardianian liquor was a very nice treat (together with the homemade biscotti). The waiters were very friendly and attentive. A nice place to spend an evening..

“Best restaurant in Rome!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

I read other people's reviews and based on their positive findings, my husband and I ate here our 1st night in Rome. It was superb! It was early September, warm and lovely, so we ate outside. The staff were attentive, but not intrusive. The flatbread appetizer with wine was an excellent starter. I Had linguine with lobster . Excellent!! They brought free prosecco, we ordered mussels(excellent) they brought free fried shrimp! Wonderful bread, wine. Finished with free almond cookies and Mirto. Mirto is a liquor made from mirtle berries. A wonderful night! Make sure you eat here. We will definitely come back.

“Not worth it”

Totally overrated. Service is great but the food is at best mediocre. A tourist trap. Best to stay in the center and take your chances with a local restaurant.

“Excellent service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2012

Unfortunately we couldn't eat here because the restaurant was full & fully booked for the following 3 days but even with the house full the manager was willing to help by calling other restaurants to check availability, booked one of them, called a taxi for us and served 2 glasses of prosecco for free. Where else can you get this service? We just hope that we can come back one day to taste also the food...
