We traveled as a couple with our parents and spent 3 nights there in mid-April.
The rate was around 450 Euro per night, before tax. Too expensive and it did not transform to a total 5 star experience.
New facility, great hotel, clean, 5 star, no doubt. Nice and quiet room.
Fancy SPA and gym. Pool is too small for swimming but good enough as a SPA.
Top notch buffet breakfast, good quality of food and good service there most of the time.
Very friendly staff with good English.
Even though the staff was well-trained and polite most of the time. There were still times and personnel showing the impatience of explaining things to the hotel guests, especially at the Concierge, where most of the tourists would ask for detailed information.
PS. I figured that overall the customer service in Italy is just at a different level. It is hard to compare it with the U.S., Spain, or any other developed countries. Actually it is not even close to some "emerging countries" like Taiwan or Portugal. I have heard some saying that customers are not kings in Italy. Very true.
