“Among the best...don't hesitate!”

Just left (yesterday) Grand Htel Via Veneto yesterday after a 4 night stay. Have never contributed to Trip Advisor before but felt compelled to review this hotel. We simply loved it. The location is perfect, in a clean and classy area. We were lucky enough to be upgraded at check in to a suite but that was not the most impressive thing. The hotel is immaculately clean, I would often look up while sitting in the spacious lobby lounge area and sight the doorman cleaning windows, floors etc on their down time. And the doorman were wonderful. Friendly and courteous, always greeting you with a smile and happy to offer advice on anything you need. In fact, to me one of the stand out features of this hotel is the staff...they seem happy in their work. Always bright, approachable and eager to accommodate an request. Their friendly manner really made a huge difference...but they also know when to be professional. Incredible service. The breakfast was without doubt 5 star, easily one of the best breakfasts I've ever experienced at a hotel. We booked massages and facial treatments in the Aqua Spa, which was small but perfectly appointed. And the Spa services were first class.
Overall, this hotel is exceptional...fantastic staff, professional but friendly when it's appropriate. Beautiful rooms, amenities and general layout and decor. The food and room service were as you'd expect from a hotel of this standard.
I would not hesitate to book this hotel...our experience was certainly 5 star. Not only would I return but I would find an excuse to!!
Brilliant from start to finish.

I enjoy breakfast while on holiday. And at the Jumeirah Rome the whole experience is one of fine dining. Good selection at the buffet as well as the hot breakfast (recommend the french toast) - the ambience of the Magnolia dining room is of a certain quiet elegance not often seen in hotels.Try and get a table in the courtyard in good weather.Only wish that the Management would make it a non smoking space.
The rooms are small but well appointed but for the lack of tea/coffee making facilities and no iron. In a hotel of this quality I would have expected a nespresso coffee machine.
Tip for those making reservations - if not already a member, become one of their loyalty programme sirius - can get some great deals.
Location is great, its a 10 min walk to the spanish steps and short taxi rides to most sights.

We stayed at the Jumeirah for 2 nights in Rome recently and wished we could have stayed there longer! Immaculate hotel in a nice upscale neighborhood. We arrived around noon and luckily our room was already available so we could settle in right away. The room was spacious with a separate study area and the bathroom has a bathtub as well. Everything worked correctly with the wifi and we were serviced promptly during our stay. We enjoyed breakfast buffet at the hotel as well. You can order from the menu as well and they taste better than the things that have been laid out at the buffet. Just ensure your rate includes breakfast or the buffet will set you back 33 euros. Lastly, check out the spa! There was a hydro massage, wet sauna, dry sauna, etc - a good treat after walking around the city!

I have spent three nights in this hotel for my business trip to Rome. The hotel located in the heart of the city within a walking distance from the famous Spanish steps and the trevi fountain.  The breakfast quality was good but limited choices. The gym was small in size with two technogym running machines, one cross trainer, a bicycle, and few weight lift machines.  Though this chain is supposed to be a five star I would not not rate this hotel more than 4.5.

I'm a regular Jumeirah guest in other locations, so did not hesitate to book a stay at this hotel. But my experience has disappointed, and I'm not sure I will continue to support the Jumeirah group in the future.

We waited 30min to check-in, after a large group of men arrived just before us. I don't have a problem with this, but felt our check-in was then rushed, and we weren't given info about breakfast, WiFi, etc.

Our room was small, and looked smaller than the others in the same price category, which we could see by the fire escape map. It was well furnished, but not up to my expectation for a €360/night room.

The breakfast room was chaotic. Waiters forgot to take our orders, food wasn't always restocked on the buffet and there was a lack of bowls. It was also odd that when we ordered scrambled eggs and bacon, the surly waitress told us to get it ourselves from the buffet (would have been ok if this part of the buffet had been replenished). Adding further insult to injury, the couple next to us asked for the exact same dish and had it brought to their table, prepared fresh by the chef in the kitchen! Our experience in the breakfast room wasn't isolated - this was the second day in a row we found it lacking.

I don't usually complain about things like this, but given the price paid and the expectation of a 5-star hotel, I would have hoped for more. As a regular business traveller, I will be reconsidering spending my travel budget with Jumeirah again.

Great location . Immaculately clean in all areas. Great facilities in rooms . Bvlgari toiletries and quality linens ,robes and towels . Lovely spa area to relax in after a days sightseeing . Good recommendations from the concierge for restaurants. Above all, I think the best thing about the hotel is the wonderful staff.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Jumeirah and I have to say our expectations were met through and through. The hotel itself is very well located, the staff is excellent, the breakfast buffet is very good and the room itself was quiet and modern. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Rome that may be looking for solid 5 start hospitality. Two minor issues that I faced were a leaky shower to where the floor of the bathroom would be entirely wet after a shower and I'm sure the cleaning staff were wondering what in the world was going on in there.....we made this issue known to the staff upon check out. The other issue was the fact that I believe we were in a smoking room even though we had requested a non-smoking room when making our reservation. I am making this assumption (that we were in a smoking room) based on an ashtray on the table, a cigarette burn hole on the chair in our room and an ever-so-faint smell of smoke every now and again. Other that these two small issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return here in the future.
