We spent two nights in a family room on the third floor. It had two twin beds and a fold-out couch in separate rooms. It also had an air conditioner, allowing us to get better sleep! In addition, we had a very spacious rooftop area with a small table and two chairs. We found the entire facility to be clean and inviting. The breakfast was better than we had hoped (actually 'feared', with two teen boys!)

We were looking for something a bit off the beaten path at a slightly lower rate than central Rome, and this turned out to be just the place. (If you are looking for a "hip" location central to sight-seeing, this is not it.) As others have noted, it is only a 5 minute walk to catch the bus to Termini, where you can transfer to anywhere. We found the hike to the Metro to be at least 15 minutes--OK if you plan ahead so you don't have to hustle. Coming 'home' in the evening reinforced this as a great place to get away at the end of the day.

Being a more residential area, finding places to eat is a little more involved than you might expect. There are certainly options within 10 minutes walking distance, but not the variety I expected. There are also several places wehere you can get something for carryout or a relatively quick meal if necessary. Awesome gelato was nearby, and a must both nights!

Shortly after we booked this hotel, we received an e-mail setting a very nice tone and including useful information and internet links. We felt both welcomed and prepared. They offered to arrange a car service from the airport, and we accepted. The service was about 20 Euro more than a cab, but was ready and waiting for us when we finally came out of the terminal--having had to file for missing luggage...

The staff was pleasant and professional , without being truly friendly. Except for Gianni. He was LOTS of fun, in addition to being VERY helpful. He was at the front desk when we arrived and spoke very good English (and also German, we enjoyed learning!) Any question, any request, and he tried to get it solved for us. I always laughed at least once when I interacted with Gianni.

I would love to go back and stay there again.

We are just finishing 4 nights at this hotel. The location has been great for us with 2 teenage boys who do not mind walking and have enjoyed traveling by bus and metro. The bus stop to the city center is 5 min walk and the metro is 10 min walk. We have found it to be convenient for both. The staff at the front desk are very helpful and you can buy your public transport tickets from them. We had a two room apartment which we found to have plenty room with a closet and plenty space to keep our bags, could have done with more hangers. Very clean, decorated very nicely and a very pleasant place to stay.

I booked this hotel merely based on the reviews and experiences of other travellers. Yes, staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly (not significantly so) and our accommodation was comfortable, clean and with welcome air conditioning! I WOULD recommend this hotel but be aware that, though very reasonable, the hotel is a bus ride from Stazione Termini (the central travel hub to EVERYWHERE in Rome!) and there is no restaurant for evening meals. While an elegant continental breakfast was available to set one up for a busy day, I personally found it quite inconvenient that the walking began once again for food in the evenings . . . .

We stayed here for a romantic weekend in January 2012. The hotel is a little out of the way but it is well connected to public transport and it is nice to be out of the tourist hustle. Staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival and couldn't give us more information and recommendations for dinner. Local restaurants were great!

Our room was a standard double which was a little small but nicely presented and the bathroom was gorgeous! Would recommend and stay here again.

Loved the hotel and the location was in a very nice area. The owner took my kids on a ride in his WWII Willy's Jeep. We had a private tour guide who met us at the hotel and he was so impressed he is going to start referring his clients to stay there. The staff spoke great English and were very helpful on suggestions and even shipping a forgotten camera to our Venice hotel.

Room Tip: The Apartment rooms are large by European standards. Room 410? If I remember correctly has a roof top terrace that was very nice.
