We decided on this hotel because of its proximity to the termini. As our stay was short and we were catching trains in and out of Rome, this was perfect. It was also central to most attractions and close to the metro for our trip to Vatican city etc.

We had contacted the hotel prior to our stay as we were going to be arriving early (11am) after a long overnight flight from Australia, so wanted to see if there was a chance of an early check in. We were told the hotel was full, but they would be able to hold our bags for the day. We were delightfully surprised that on arrival, there was a room available. The check in clerk AnnaLisa was very friendly and offered us several different upgrades to different room types. We chose a terrace room as the weather was sunny and the view from up there on the 6th floor was pleasant, out across the rooftops of Rome. The room itself was small, though it had a large bathroom. We took up the internet offer of 20 Euros per day, which was a bit steep, but we wanted to stay in touch with home etc, so not really a choice. As it was warm, the room was also hot and the AC was not working as it is set to winter. We left the doors open and it cooled the room sufficiently.

All of the hotel staff were great and did what they could to help us out with directions, advice, extra pillows etc. The breakfast was huge and offered many different choices and very good espresso type coffee drinks on request.

Would definitely recommend this comfortable hotel and would visit again.

Room Tip: If you choose a terrace, check the temperature is ok inside the room.

Stayed here for three night with the family on a city break. The room, the breakfast and location was superb. The area around the train station Termini might not be the nicest at might, it's very easy to travel to and a great location for exploring Rome. Try to get room 612 since it's considerable larger than other rooms.

The Una Hotel Roma is one block from the Termini Station and the local train and buses, as well as the hop on and hop off buses. It is your typical big city hotel. The staff is helpful, but not overly friendly. The rooms are small but tidy. You can request a bigger room for an additional cost if that is important to you. The breakfast in the morning is beyond expectations and the staff there is courteous and friendly.

Room Tip: Ask for a bigger room.

I had asked my travel agent to find a hotel close to the Termini Rail Station, as I was traveling to Rome by train. Indeed, the hotel was a mere two block walk (hauling 2 suitcases was a cinch). The neighborhood around the train station is a little bleak, what you would expect in any city. The UNA's rooms are contemporary and spacious. BIG bathrooms! BIG beds. High celings.Tremendous front-desk staff who speak English. Nice hotel bar. Franky, everything was great here. As a solo traveler, I felt perfectly safe, relaxed and comfortable. It exceeded my expectations. What a gem.

"UNA hotel" has an excellent location, just next to Termini station; the building is warm and contemporary both outside and inside. Rooms and furniture are accurate, clean and nice and very new. Beds are confortable and there is a wide choice of different pillows that makes you feel at home. In addition the staff is extremely helpfull and kind, and breakfast gorgeous.
Definitly it offers a great value.

We loved our room here - a quiet oasis right smack in the middle of a very hectic part of Rome Beautiful, minimalist style room-perfect-very calming with great beds and pillows, a big bathroom, light and bright. You can walk from the train station dragging your bag, it's about two blocks. Excellent breakfast buffet service and beautiful lobby. Highly recommend.

Easy to find hotel from Termini station.Excellent rooms and facilities.Downside was very difficult to get out of deep bath from shower ---no handrail so if you are above a certain age could be rather dangerous (surprised hotel have not addressed this problem when other guests have noted this too ).Also our room on first floor was noisy due to trams which run from 5a.m.If we had stayed more than our 2 nights would have asked for a change of room.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the tram line!
