We stayed 3 nights precruise and 3 nights post cruise. Both rooms were very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A good selection for Breakfast. We did find it slippery getting out of the shower. The bath is deep. We walked to the Colosseum, The Trevi Fountain, The Spanish Steps, etc. The location is great, and within 200 meters of the main Railway Station and Supermarket (Drug Store). We did a Vatican Tour and the pick up point was across the road. We ate at the IL Secchio Ristorante around the corner. Very good and reasonably priced. We took the Archeobus Hop On Hop Off and found it not very reliable with it's times. Half hour schedule ended up to be an hour. Have no trouble in recommending the Hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the tram line. The rooms facing the courtyard are very quiet.

Modern and cool hotel, lovely spacious bedroom. Friendly receptionist staff. 30 euro parking charge a bit steep. Near Termini which is a big plus. Not far from the Coleseum and Palatine hill. (10 minute walk) .Good breakfast selection. Very peaceful nights sleep, room on 5th floor very quiet. The immediate area around the hotel is a bit seedy in places, so beware of that if wandering around. Very good hotel otherwise.

Had one night stay in October while transiting through Rome.
Close to train station which was our preference.
This area is not the best part of town but selected it for convenience factor, ease of short walk from the station and pricing.
Second visit to Rome and have stayed in same area at a different hotel.
Prefer Una Hotel as it was clean, modern fully refurbished rooms compared to other similar priced hotels in the area.
Had friends also staying at the Una and their room/ bathroom was also of a high standard.
Experienced plumbing problem with the toilet but possibly to be expected with old buildings in Rome.
Was not worth complaing about in view of the one night stay.
Shower is located over a deep bath which may be an issue for elderly travellers.
Did not detract from our stay and would stay at Una Hotel on future visits.

We read some reviews since we were looking for a good hotel near the railway station, so we decided to try this hotel. It was great, the room and bathroom were clean. The hotel is within walking distance from Termini railway station.

This hotel was just what we wanted, within walking distance from the main railway station. It was clean, bright and modern. The bathroom was large and had a good shower and bath. The room was not very big but plenty big enough for two people. We were lucky and didn't hear any noise at all at night. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was buffet with plenty to choose from. No complaints here at all.

The area was fine with many small restaurants within 5 minutes walking. One small family owned restaurant, Ristorante Santi, which you needed to turn right out of the front of the hotel and then immediately right again, then a few hundred yards further on, was very good. It was run by an elderly couple and their daughter, but it was cheap and a good meal. Nothing fancy.

Regarding the internet, you could always walk to the corner of the street, go to the small restaurant/bar opposite, have a beer and use your own laptops for free for as long as you wanted. There were also two internet cafes just up the road, which again were very cheap.

The main attractions were within walking distance, although a bit of a treck up the hill back, after a long days sightseeing.

All in all I would recommend this hotel, especially if you are touring by train.

Although the rooms were small, we were very satisfied with the Una Hotel. The room was clean and well decorated. It is not located in the heart of Rome but close to hop on hop off locations and the train station, Sleeping was good as no sounds were heard once you shut your door. The rooms were cleaned daily. We had an issue with the safe and it was handled timely, Breakfast was a buffet and was ample. A good variety of foods to provide a start to the day for anyone. Cereals, pastries.eggs, sausage, toast, jioices, fruit, etc. A nice little Italian hotel.

This hotel is fairly new or newly remodeled. I was in room 123 and although it was small, it was very functional as well as nice, esthetically. The one big issue was that the train or tram was right outside the window and you could hear it quite loudly in the room late into the night and early in the morning. Almost sounded like fighter jets. Even though the window was closed and I had earplugs, I could still hear it. My main suggestion to you is to take a room on a different side of the hotel.
Other things worth noting are that the hotel rooms do not have irons, but you can borrow them from housekeeping. The rooms also don't have alarm clocks, but you can ask for a wake-up call. I'd also like to add that you will want to spend a couple of minutes figuring out how the lighting system works in the room. In order to make anything electrical work in the room, you have to insert your room key into a slot by the door. I believe this is to make sure you aren't using electricity when you leave the room. Its really not complicated but it is a pain if you aren't used to it. Lastly, I would say that the front desk staff is not very friendly. It seems like they are standing on a raised floor looking down on you and that feels like the attitude I experienced.

I might stay here again, but next time I'll make sure my room is far from the train noise.

Room Tip: Stay away from rooms facing the train.
