Tried this place as it was close to where I was staying and read positive reviews. It's a nice restaurant which is patronized by locals, so no danger of getting caught on a tourist trap.
Food is simple, unpretentious in presentation, just traditional dishes done well. As it is very close to Vatican, you will probably see clerical collars in there. :) It's a very busy restaurant so either come when they open for dinner or make a reservation.
I had a half liter of the house white wine and it was a very generous half liter, three good glassfuls. The Porcini Risotto was such comfort food and I was happy to find out that they don't use a meat based stock to make it, so it was vegan.
On the whole, finding vegan choices can be challenging. Nice to find a risotto I could have. The parmesan was offered on the side.
Service was good, efficient and pleasant. Prices reasonable.

This was our designated restaurant on a recent tour of Rome, it was crowded every night so it obviously is very popular, and some US ladies in our hotel ate there every night, and people were lining up outside. Well, our group were seated in a little alcove inside, the starter pasta was good, but the main meal consisted of meat, first night pork which was good, but a salad of JUST lettuce, no tomatoes and about 6 matchstick chips, please stick to Italian food, why do they think the English want chips with everything. Another night we had some sort of kebab that looked like offal, with said lettuce and chips. Starters and desserts were lovely, just maincourse was a let down. Staff were very friendly and helpful, one night it was fish , salmon pasta and hake I think, friends said it was very good, as I can't eat fish I was given vegetable pasta and caprese salad which was obviously off the main menu and delicious.

We found this restaurant in 2015 and we were delighted to return and again, we were not disappointed.
The food is superb. Homemade, fresh and tasty.
Amazing Pasta and Pizza and a really friendly atmosphere. The waiters are still the same since 2015 which shows how good they are. If you come across this restaurant. Look no further. Stop and enjoy. If you are at The Vatican, it’s just a 5 min walk away from the centre of St Peters Square. Looking forward to returning one day soon.

Situated so close to Vatican I find this restaurant really nice. Friendly service and good food. We had melon and ham to start with. No problem. Then mussels and fried fish plate. Meeting expectations!
