“Close to Vatican, great service!”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

We picked this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and we needed a place for the girls to wait while the guys trekked over to pick up our Roma Passes near the Vatican. The restaurant was crowded but the waiters were patiently waiting for the guys to return. There was wine and fresh bread waiting for their return. We all then had a very Roman three hour lunch as we ate, drank and talked about our plans for Rome. There were nine of us and we all enjoyed our food. The price was reasonable, the service was efficient and the bathrooms clean. We returned another day but it was closed and we were disappointed, but found a place nearby.

“First and last day perfect lunch and dinner”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

This place sure deserves to be on TOP 100, reasonable prices, great location, friendly stuff, big portions and nice bianco vino della casa. We came 1st day while it was very close to our hostel. Others days we were searching our luck on other places some of them were on top 50 but lower quality, much smaller portions and more expensive. So last night fortunately we came again and ate supli, artichoke, bruschette, 2 pasta, 1/2 vino della casa and creme caramel for 40€ !!! For Rome and quality we got this was cheap!

“Our favorite restaurant in Rome!”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

We were staying at the B&B around the corner, and we ended up here at least 3 or 4 times during our stay. Fairly busy (even in January), with a mix of tourists and locals. The pizza, pasta, and house wine were all excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. The service from Claudio and his associate was also excellent, even for non-Italian speakers, and they were especially attentive to our food allergy concerns.

Highly recommended -- Grazie Claudio!

“Truly Roman”
Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

Friend, who are long time regulars, took us there. The seafood antipasti was out of this world, the overall dining experience perfect for a colloquial dinner with friends. Highly recommended, and among the best options that close to the Vatican. Most reasonable prices. Family-like service.
