Aurelia 429 B&B is a very nice lodging. I stayed here in June for my vacation with my mother, Ivana, and it's the best ! It's very close to a metro, and there's a bus stop right in front of the B&B. Furthermore, it's only about 10 minutes to Vatican city, so it's a very strategic spot.

The room is meticulously clean and comfortable, and the sun gets in in the morning. A very nice atmosphere. It's a self service coffe and bread breakfast, but everything is there, from jam to butter.

Mauro ( The owner ) and his son was a lot, I mean A LOT helpful. They would give you any directions when you need to go somewhere in the city, and they speak english fluently, so no trouble if you can's speak italian. ( I'm from Indonesia myself )

So, to conclude, it's a very nice B&B ! I would want to stay there again if I had the chance.

Room Tip: Bigger rooms are better :)

Stayed here for a week in April whilst studying (also found some time to see the beautiful city too!).

Not in the nicest area of Rome, BUT be being a little further out this B&B can offer excellent prices. It is very close to a metro station so it is very easy to get to all of the tourist attractions from there. It is clean and nicely decorated and the owner was more than attentive.

Stayed in a single room, which was small but had everything I needed, including a clean ensuite bathroom. Free Wifi and a basic breakfast is also provided.

Only issue is the walls are a bit thin and being in an apartment block there is some noise from upstairs - but nothing that a pair of earplugs won't solve.

Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to see the stunning city of Rome on a budget.

We are so lucky to be the first one to stay at Mr. Mauro's new decorated appartment. Though there is still a little smell from the painting, compare with Mr. Mauro's great help, his hospitality and enthusiasm, that is nothing. Very clear, neat, spacious room in a very nice location and with almost all the facilities you may need: metro, bus, pharmacy, pizza snack bar, local Italian restaurant :).

Very nice experience, be sure to come back again. Thank you, Mr Mauro!

Yesterday we returned from a trip to Rome and stayed at Aurelia 429. The location is very good for those who wants to visit Rome - near metro station ( 150 m ), near restaurants and near Carrefour. The rooms are clean. Mauro, the owner, is very friendly and helpfull. He recommend us good restaurants with excelent food and good prices. In front of the apartment is also a bus station. The connection to Fiumiciono airport is very good: you can take the metro until Termini Station and after that you have two options: take the train ( Leonardo express ) to the airport ( about 25 minutes) and it costs you 14 €/ person or you can take the busshuttle ( about 50 minutes) and you'll pay 6 €/ person

Possitives:
Mauro (the owner) is very gentle and helpfull.
The residence is happy, very clean and comfortable. The Metro stop (Baldo degli Ubaldi) is very close, so no problem with transportation. Also two stops away from Vatican Museums (Cipro) and three stops from St Peter's Basilica (Ottaviano).

Negatives:
The residence is held on the fifth floor if a building and sometimes the elevator is out of order. Also it is between two major roads of the area (Baldo degli Ubaldi and Aurelia) with heavy traffic all day, so a bit noisy.

In general highly recommended (perfect balance value for money)

Nice, big and clean room. Free wi-fi. The B&B is located in more quite and safe Rome area but still close to the city centre. Very good connections to everywhere - metro, bus. The staff was very warm and helpfull, they recommend us good restaurants around the B&B and I can confirm - food was excellent and prices much lower than in the centre. I truly recommend it.
