“Nice and cheap”
Reviewed July 27, 2011

Nice small hotel located just outside the centre of Rome. But metro is very close so all the attractions are easy reachable (not in my case - managed to get there on the metro strike day...). It's located by the street with quite a heavy traffic, so noise is quite disturbing (especially at nighttime). Rooms are spacious enough, well equiped bathroom. Breakfast was nothing special, but not bad - some pastry, some cereals, but you can find some good restaurants on a nearby Viale Regina Margherita. The best of all was the price - below EUR 35 per night.

This hotel is far from most places you would want to visit, it was not very interesting but good for the quietness. The breakfast bar is not up to much. the rooms are really small, no air conditioner but you can rent a fan from the front desk.

Nice hotel with a decent if basic breakfast, quiet area.
Very little to do in area after returning to hotel early evening with kids, nothing (i mean nothing) in vicinity open after 7.30 even to get a can of juice, unless your prepared for long walk.
It is very close to the metro which is very good and quick.
Rooms okay but no Air con, cooling fans available on request, nice polite staff.
Breakfast only.

This is a former residence for Benedictine religous that was opened the first of the year as a hotel. The general interior is pretty stark as one would expect from a former religious residence but they are making improvements daily. The breakfast room was opened while we were there and it is decorated very nicely. The breaktast is the typical boring rolls and juice that you get most places in Rome. Located in somewhat of a residential type area so generally more quiet than othe places. Only two blocks to the Metro station whch was very nice. Internet service was very good.
