Wow wow wow!!!

What a special hidden gem this is!

I booked for an evening for the 1st night we arrived in Rome. It's hidden away down a side street and mostly full of locals.

The ambience is fantastic, staff courteous, food simple and delicious, great choice of drinks. After the meal we were shown upstairs to great seats for a night of jazz - that particular evening it was swing.

The band were amazing!!!!! Please book this place - I only wish we had something like it closer to home.

Thank you to Gregory's for making our first night in Rome such an unforgettable one. This was my sisters favourite night!!

Love love love it!

the jazz trio was very good, we really enjoyed the session.
the place is ok, small as almost every good jazz club.
I drunk a prosecco which was terrible, sweet and hot - for six euros a glass. so, forget it.
Then I tried the caipiroska, which was ordinary.
so, stick to the beer! my husband told me it was ok.

We had drinks and dinner at this jazz bar before watching the show upstairs. The barman, Phil, is really friendly and polite. Dinner was good and the quality of live music was great. We returned on our last night for a drink and the place was busy. Amazing whiskey selection too which kept me happy!

The good: This very cozy bar/restaurant has all you want for a last night out in town while looking for something different.

We booked a table and had dinner which was very good for such a small place. The friendly young waiter (sorry, didn't ask for the name) was a very helpful fellow that had good knowledge regarding wines and offered us two different alternatives close in taste and price after we ordered a bottle that was not available anymore. He now and then checked in with us if all is to our satisfaction which I thought was a nice touch.

We later went upstairs to watch the show and a table in front had been reserved for us. The band was very good and played a good mix of all time classics and some more unusual songs and the upstairs got extremely crowded as the night went on. The played two sets from 10.30pm to almost 1.00am.

As we had dinner the cover charge was only 7.00EUR but if you want to just see the show know that the first drink is 15.00EUR which is seen as cover for the show. The cocktail menu has a good variety and they are more than happy to help you choosing the right drink for your mood. Definitely worth reserving a table upstairs as otherwise you only will be able to watch the show on a flat screen TV at the bar downstairs.

The bad: To be honest nothing really with this place, good food, friendly service and good jazz… all in all a fantastic last night in Rome!

We didn't book, however the charming waiter managed to fit us in for that night's session. Great little venue. Does get very busy and not many tables for diners. Excellent meal and service for drinks too. Well looked after and open late.
