“Best Way to See Rome”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is the best way to see all the highlights in Rome. The bus takes you to every site. They also have audio telling you all about each highlight.

“Appalling customer service & too many hidden drawbacks”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

We paid £150 for two 3 day passes & were unable to use them at all on our first day, as it was a bank-holiday & the "pick up points" were not open. This was in clear breach of contract which stated they were open till 6pm on every day except a couple of named dates (Xmas). Next day, staff just shrugged this off & offered no compensation.

They do not tell you that you have to BOOK in advance for Vatican trips & even when we did, making a THIRD trip across town, they were unapologetic in telling us that they'd made a mistake & there would be no access to the Basilica that day (our last).

I waited 25 minutes, being studiously ignored by their staff, who came & went, chatting to eachother, nipping out for a smoke; & ruining my chances of catching up with a party who had left without us as we struggled through huge crowds & pouring rain.
Their tour bus misses out large parts of the city; Trevi, Spagna, Pantheon, Borghese; pretty much everywhere north of Termini.
No reply to complaint made by e.mail either.
A complete rip-off; showing utter contempt for their clients. Plenty of others to choose from.

“There are better ones to get”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

We arrived at train station at airport and to buy tickets for Leonardo express there was a sign advertising this. we bought it, got given a voucher and we regretted it. We got to termini and tried to get it validated but could not find the bus, we asked in the station and no one knew where it was. We get to b&b via metro and walk to Giovanni latreano to see if we could get on the bus, 40 minutes later no bus. Walk to colosseum, we see a bus we run to try and get it and can't find it. Unfortunately this day was the day of pope Francis inaugural mass so everything went to pop. The next day we managed to find the bus early and get to Vatican City, where it dropped us so you can walk up to Basillica. When we finally got out of the Vatican museums it was raining hard, everyone bundled onto the bus and we get told no standing everyone needs to sit down so we had to go upstairs and sit in soaking wet seats because the retractable roof had no sides so every time they stopped water poured off onto your lap. We gave up early and went back to get dry for fear of pneumonia kicking in. On our last day it turns out there was a public transport strike by then we just gave up and threw tickets in bin

“An experience”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

Not as good as other cities hop on hop off tours. The driver answered many phone calls whilst driving and although he had a hands free phone like many Italians he talked with his hands and took them off the wheel! However, he got us round Rome safely. The buses were not as clean as one would expect and one morning the seats on the open top were wet and when we asked for them to be dried the guide did a lot of muttering under his breath. The plugs for the earphones did not work on a lot of seats.
