Amazing experiance for your first visit to Rome, even if you have been more then once I'm sure you will learn so much! I have never been to anything like this before and I'm not sure anything similar actually exists it's that good. Staff were friendly and helpful and the way they tell you the history of Rome is really really clever 10/10.

Thanks for chrisa positive feedback! :)

Welcome to Rome was born to help visitors find their way around this magnificent yet complex city. With an hour spent in this time machine, from the scientific rigor, you will be able to appreciate the important historical signs, all the monuments, the basilicas and learn the streets of the eternal city. Once the tour ends, getting around Rome will never be the same!

This multimedia attraction is very well located, easy to find and great value for money. On arrival you are given headphones set to your preferred language and then shown the two stage of the visit. Stage 1 consists of four mini-presentations based on a model and screen. In each scenario a different historical site is explained with different graphical and mechanical motions supporting the story. I honestly don’t know how some of the visual effects were done. The second stage is the main cinema experience where a projection is made onto a topographical 3-d sculpture of the city and surrounding landscape with screens along the back and side walls. The history of the 7 hills is then presented from their fiery formation to the present day. Fascinating stuff!

That's right, we are right behind Piazza Navona and the purpose of Welcome to Rome is to provide our visitors with a space-time map of this fabulous yet complex city.
Technology is fundamental in this project as well as scientific rigor in recounting historical notes.
You will be fascinated and involved in ancient Rome for almost an hour!

Cool thing to do before exploring the city. It’s quick and informative. Also, a quick rest from all the walking while learning.
