We spent 4 nights at this hotel which is situated in a quiet side street right in the centre of Rome. It is a boutique type hotel with only 3 floors. The rooms are modern but some of the historic features such as the stone spiral staircase and flooring have been retained.
Our room was quiet and very comfortable with quite a few English programmes on the wall mounted television. We would not hesitate to book this hotel again. Each floor had its own breakfast room with a continental breakfast to help yourselves to.

The hotel was lovely as the pictures show
Rooms tiny but nice , modern furnishings , kettle in room and toiletries changes every day. we had two single bed pushed together even if we booked for a double bed but that are minor things that will not affect too much my holiday. Mattress and pillows were very good and comfortable.
Close to the termini station and to colosseum ( 5-7 min walk)
we were using taxi service to get to the city most of the times
There is a taxi station 2 min from the hotel next to the church Santa Maria Maggiore .
Important notice: be careful with the taxi drivers , the legal one are the white have a logo on the door and use taximeters, the illegal that my look like the others are able to charge quite more than the standard ( double the price ) and the black vans as well . From Ciampino airport they fee is 30€ to the town . So don’t agree with a extremely high price . Most of them are helpful and some other are rude .))

Many thanks to Guissepe in reception , he was friendly and helpful ( had emails
Conversation before arriving and he was really helpful)
The young lady in breakfast was helpful and friendly to all of us
And remembered even the coffee we drink and had it ready for us on time we were going for breakfast.
No other food served after that or any bar in the hotel . This would be an extra for the hotel.

Check out time is 10:30 and check in 15:00
In my opinion it is too early the check out time ( In Cyprus is 12:00 ) and they must find a better place to store luggage instead of just next to reception in open area.

Writing my review a bit late but feel like the hotel deserves some recognition! We stayed here in summer for 5 nights and throughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel in my opinion was lovely and felt historic and unique due to the original features of the building such as the staircase. It is within walking distance of nearly all of Rome’s attractions. The room was slightly smaller than other hotels we’ve visited but from reading other reviews this was what we were expecting. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room included everything we required, large wardrobe, safe, Tv, phone charging ports so the size wasn’t really any issue for us. The breakfast was fine, a typical continental breakfast spread. The only down side to the stay was the noise in the mornings when breakfast was being set up which I have also seen on other reviews. To be honest even though we were woken up most days by the noise it didn’t bother us too much as the hotel is small so it was to be expected really. If we return to Rome we would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 3 nights during a 5 day Italian holiday and booked a superior room.

The room itself was very simple and very clean. Our only complaint hence the star rating is that the room was situated right next door to the breakfast room. So every morning about 6:45, the staff would start setting up, and the noise didn’t stop until 10:30am. So if you want to relax in your room and not go to breakfast and have a lie in, then forget it?! There was an electric kettle in the room, but no tea or coffee, just sugar. Plus no slippers as started on the website, the floor was stone and a little cold.

We stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2019 and what a lovely stay we had!

The room was clean and tidy, albeit a little on the smaller side but perfect for us as we hardly ever spent anytime there.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating to our needs.

The breakfast was nice and just what you need before your busy day ahead!

Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will be sure to return in the future! :)
