When I booked this I thought it was too good to be true for the price.

The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, the bed was AMAZING!, the shower was great and having the little fridge in the room was a great plus with two bottles of ice cold water replaced in it every day. The breakfast in the morning was very nice...although I would suggest giving people a bit more jam. It was great to be able to just sit back in bed and have breakfast. It got the day off to a nice relaxed start. The local neighbourhood is very nice with some really good restaurants within walking distance. It's also within easy walking distance of the not to be missed Borghese Gallery and the 38 bus takes you into Termini station withing 10-15 minutes and you can get anywhere in Rome from there with ease. Alternatively you can take the tram 5 stops to the nearest metro stop and go from there. Our trip to the the Roman Forum took just 20 minutes in all.
This place is great and such great value for money. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 1 which was just lovely.

Nice, cozy, safe and quiet place are the things you will get when u stay there.
Really recommend this hotel for you, definitely will come back again to Domus Coppede for my Rome trip again next year...

Coppede is a smart residential suburb with low-rise apartment blocks in leafy streets.
It's a short bus ride away from Rome's attractions; a taxi from the Termini station cost us 6 Euros. The B & B was hard to fault; bedroom a fair size and the bathroom is new. We ate in two restaurants around the corner - good value, full of locals, not a tourist in sight - but it is the peace and quiet which is the best feature. VERY important to take their phone number with you when you first arrive; the front door opens into a locked courtyard and there's just one receptionist who can be away at various times.

We rested at the hotel in May 2010. The hotel is good: great location (near the Villa Borghese). To all the interesting places in Rome is easily accessible, to the center can be reached even on foot (40-50 minutes). Hotel owner Marco - soulful Italian! He helped us to solve any difficulties.
Minus, perhaps, one: a good audibility in the rooms. But everything is relative:). But at night all is calm.

A charming, quiet, and relaxing B & B. The staff was very accomodating, friendly, and helpful. Very clean and nice accomodations, a nice light breakfast to start the day. A great place to retreat to after a long and busy day in the center of Rome. Signore Marco has a wonderful establishment, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Roma, the caput mundi.

Very clean.Mr Marco, at the reception, was very helpful and gentle. Domus is at a very nice, quite and safe neighborhood. It was clean and cosy. The first day the breakfast was a bit poor but the following days it was more than ok ,with marmalades, honey, juice, coffee, cookies, cakes and croissants! Definitely worhts its money!

We stayed in the Domus Coppede for a few nights in April. It is situated not directly in the city centre but still pretty close so that travelling to the main sights of the city does not take much time.
The B&B is located in a smaller street, so that it does not get too noisy. The rooms incl. the bath room are freshly renovated and very nice in terms of atmosphere and furniture. The rooms are clean and the owner is very friendly and responsive to any question or problem one might have. Breakfast lacks a bit variety but this is definetly fine for a few days of staying and it is of good, fresh quality. The breakfast gets delivered to the room at the time you want it. The room then lacks a bit a small table with 2 chairs to eat at but this is again really rather a smaller thing.
There was a bit of construction work going on in the house next to it, which caused a bit of noise in the mornig, but again this was not a real issue. So overall we had a few great days in the Domus Coppede. I have read in another evaluation that they believed to be able to find a complete appartment for the about 90€ you have to pay here. I would say that this is absolutely unrealistic for a city like Rome. From my point of view price-value for this B&B is really good. I can really recommend the Domus Coppede!
