My wife and took at 2 week tour through Italy and France last month, and our first stop was three days in Rome. I did a ton of research and chose this B&B based on the location, reviews, and reasonable price. We were not disappointed! Once we got our bearings in the city, we realized what a wonderful location we had chosen for getting around all the life Rome has to offer! We had a lovely breakfast each morning as we opened the shutters and took in the fresh air and sounds of Rome waking up. The room is very spacious for Europe, and has a sitting area in addition to the bedroom. Our only downers were that the street is very noisy until late in the night (there is a popular bar/club across the plaza from the hotel), so if you can sleep with earplugs, bring them just in case (the upside is that you'll do so much walking in Rome that you should be good and tired by the time your head hits the pillow at night!) -- and when we arrived by cab it was hard to get a hold of anyone from the hotel, so make sure you have access to a phone and have the telephone number to call, or buzz up to the other B&B on the floor above, as they always have an attendant on duty -- once we did that, we were good to go! Note that the owner speaks English, but his wife does not (she fixes your breakfast in the morning) -- not a huge deal, but just something to know if you have questions :) But these things would not significantly detract from what we would say was a great, economical, enjoyable stay in Rome. Started our trip off right!
