The little hotel is set in a quiet, residential area, surrounded by tall, old buildings that remain silent during the night, because they are mainly meant for business only or tourism. The triple rom is very big, with tall French windows that overlook the lovely quiet street and with a mural painting of the Vatican that calms you down after a long day's walk. The bath is quite old, but clean and has a retro feeling that accompanies the room beautifully. We had breakfast, which could be improved, but the Girls that serve it are so welcoming and eager to help, that the whole experience is worth it only for the valuable info you get.
The place is of great value, close to the Termini Station,to a supermarket, to some restaurants. The owners are nice and try to be helpful. All in all, a cheap but lovely place to stay ! !!

Wow, this place was a wonderful surprise. We had 16 people; 8 in Viallafranco 2 and 8 in via palestro 56. The apartments were great -- roomy, clean, ac, kitchen. And 3 bathrooms in each apartment was, well, quite convenient to say the least. Our group at meals together in one place and there were enough plates and cups and cutlery, and they had pots too. (Minor gripe: indoor lighting is weak at night). Area felt very safe, we were out late. Palestro 56 had a lively young bar crowd at nights, fun to see (friendly youth, maybe a tourist hangout?). Gelato across the street, grocery 2 min walk, metro 5 min walk, bus 3 min. 15 min walk to termini, safe. Anthony was very helpful. Airport "easy taxi" van was nice and on time and well priced for 8 people (they made arrangements).

Not walking distance to any main sights though, but that was ok for us.

HIGHLY recommend. I'll check them first next time I visit.

Located walking distance from Termini Station for easy access to public transport, but if you like walking around new cities like we do this is the perfect location. Walking distance to most of Rome's beautiful sights and monuments like the Forum, The Colosseum, The Pantheon and Fontana Di Trevi. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms have excellent WIFI and TV. It has everything you need for a wonderful stay in Rome!!!!

We were a family of 8, 6 children ranging in age from 7-18. Easy walk to Termini Station to catch the metro to any point in the city. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. Three bathrooms was very nice with so many children. Small grocery store within a block. On quiet side street with several restaurants to choose from. Felt very safe walking around the neighborhood even alone in the morning to get breakfast items. Very pleased with everything would not hesitate to recommend.
