We ate here on our first night in Roma after arriving from Amsterdam. By the time we got to our hotel, checked in and freshened up it was almost 10pm. The hotel restaurant was closing so we asked the front desk for a recommendation, concerned that nothing would still be open (as we often experienced in Amsterdam). Surprisingly she had quite a few recommendations, the first being La Pariolina, just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We were quite surprised to arrive and find the place absolutely filled to the brim with people, but were immediately seated at a table and brought water while we reviewed the menu. We ordered bruschetta and two pizzas with only a slight difficulty (our waitress didn't speak very much English) and the food was served promptly. Everything was very delicious and the menu includes a lengthy list of both food and drinks.
