“Very Good - Open until 2am”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

We ate here on our first night in Roma after arriving from Amsterdam. By the time we got to our hotel, checked in and freshened up it was almost 10pm. The hotel restaurant was closing so we asked the front desk for a recommendation, concerned that nothing would still be open (as we often experienced in Amsterdam). Surprisingly she had quite a few recommendations, the first being La Pariolina, just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We were quite surprised to arrive and find the place absolutely filled to the brim with people, but were immediately seated at a table and brought water while we reviewed the menu. We ordered bruschetta and two pizzas with only a slight difficulty (our waitress didn't speak very much English) and the food was served promptly. Everything was very delicious and the menu includes a lengthy list of both food and drinks.

“Short walk from Hilton Garden Claridge”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

We are here on our 2 nights in Rome, it was a short walk from the Hilton hotel. Its difficult to get a table so you should book in advance if possible. We enjoyed some really lovely food & service on our first night, but the service was very poor on the 2nd occassion (Sunday night). Some of the waiting team appear more experienced than others. However, the food more than makes up. Pizza Toscana is excellent as are the antipasti cured meats selections. We had some lovely Tuscan wine from Scansano region. Book and reserve a table and you are in for a treat. Oh Gentlemen wear a jacket if you haven't a booking, It will help your cause in the queue ! 10 out of 10 for food, atmosphere and service.

“very good for families”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

in the heart of the upscale parioli neighborhood i was always a bit rerluctant to try this restaurant but what a surprise when i did with my wife and kids!!

on sunday at lunch time they have special entertainment for kids who can have their own meal supervised by child-minders who look after them in a special room! believe me only this is worth trying it if you have kids to have a peaceful meal.

but also the menu is excellent, very wide, with a touch of fantasy and an attempt to fulfill all tastes (e.g. you can order a pizza roman, ultra thin style, or neapolitan thicker style). one of the owner is a beer lover so you find very rare beers particularly from belgium. prices are very reasonable.

i will definitely go back there often

“Decent, but not amazing Italian fare.”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Had a work dinner here. The food was good, but not amazing considering it was Italy. The service was slow, slow, slow - and not in the normal, laid back Mediterranean way. More like in the "I'm dying of thirst and the waiter is standing there staring at me but not getting the water I asked for five minutes ago" way. I would not return on my own if I had a choice.

“Best pizza in Parioli”
Reviewed December 4, 2012 via mobile

I have been 3 times already to this simple restaurant. It's full on weekends from local people with their families. I tried several dishes but always go back to the same: pizza with salsiccia artigianale and carcioffi
(I invented it). Excellent pizza, worth the trip every time!
