“Our home in Rome”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

It was really home during my stay in Rome 7 nights. We were in Puccini suite. It was spacious, beautiful and clean. Bed was comfy. There is also possibility to make good capsule coffee or tea in the room. The breakfast was ok, fine double espressos. Free wireless internet. Very good location. From Termini station only 5 minutes walk. Very close to good shopping street Via Nazionale and the area. Near was Santa Maria Maggiore church where we attended to free wonderful concert. You can easily walk to most attractions, also use metro or bus to save your legs. There's only three or four rooms in this B&B, it was on the 4th floor and the old elevator was the real attraction. Host Paolo was very friendly and gave good advices.

Our 4 night stay in this perfect BnB helped make our very wet experience of Rome much more enjoyable. We are reluctant to sing its praises too highly for fear that it will become too popular and we may not get a room again! However we have to be honest! Brilliant location! Brilliant room! Brilliant people! Paulo and Margaret were so pleasant! We only saw Sonia in the passing, but she too seemed very pleasant.
Overall, a wonderful little gem of a find among all those ancient Roman Treasures!!

This B&B was a lovely home base during our four night stay in Rome. It is located near Termini station and several metro stops, but is within walking distance of many popular sites. Our double room with attached bath was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast each morning was more than adequate. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we visit Rome!

This lovely B&B is situated in a very nice old house just opposite the Rome opera - great location, just few minutes walk from Colloseum, Forum Romanum and other Roman attractions.
Our room and bathroom were beautiful, spacious and very clean and the bed was soooo comfortable.
Paolo was very nice to us and his English is perfect!
Thank you for a great stay!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at B&B Armonia All’Opera. Paolo was incredibly helpful and provided us with tips for sightseeing while in Rome. His English is great, so communicating with him was never an issue! The room and bathroom were incredibly large and clean; someone was in the room everyday to make the bed and provide fresh toiletries. The breakfast provided is generally what you would expect from an Italian hotel; cold cuts, pastries, toast, cereal, juice and cappuccino or coffee. The location of the B&B was convenient and we were able to come and go as we pleased without any issues. The only drawback we experienced during our stay was the noise in the morning; while other guests were dining in the breakfast room, their voices would carry down the hall and into our room, waking us every morning. Other than that, we have no complaints!

We searched and searched for reasonably priced, well-located accommodation with good traveller reviews when planning our trip to Rome - found this B&B on Trip Advisor and promptly booked it. We weren't disappointed! The B&B interior is stunning with beautiful furniture, pristine tiled floors, and an airy feel. Our room (Puccini Suite) was huge, and was again beautifully furnished. I've seen a few mentions of small bathrooms but ours was more than adequate, with an ample shower cubicle and huge 'rain' shower head. The towels, as mentioned in other reviews, were not like any I had experienced before - more like sheets - but they did the job and were changed everyday. The room was also cleaned every day. We were impressed that the small mini-bar stocked water, soft drinks and a couple cans of lager/small bottle of Prosseco that were not marked up and the same price as the shops. There was also a safe and air conditioning. The building is very secure and I enjoyed the novelty of the old-fashioned lift!

Paolo and co were very friendly, and Paolo would pop in at breakfast every morning to give great advice that helped us plan (i.e. Roma Pass a bit of a false economy, queue at the Forum/Palatine Hill instead of Colloseum for tickets as the queues are shorter). He also recommended the restaurant right next door on our first night, which was great as it was almost 9pm by the time we arrived and we were starving. The restaurant (La Matriciana or similar) did not disappoint.

In terms of location, the B&B is a 5 minute walk to Termini, and we reached many major sites (Colloseum/Forum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon etc) on foot within 25 minutes. It is literally across the road from the opera house if that is something you fancy taking in while visiting Rome.

Would definitely stay again!
