We went to this restaurant on our first night in Rome, at the suggestion of our hotel. At first seemed pretty good, but after other dining experiences, we would rate it fair. Had a little difficulty communicating with waiter who spoke little English and seemed to think it was a chore to serve us. We tried to communicate with the little Italian we knew, but the waiter just kept shaking his head; at one point, we walked away from our table while I was in mid-sentence. It was very crowded; food was average and the house red wine was no better than average. We wound up back there the following Monday because other places were closed on Mondays.) By this time, we had the experience of several other restaurants and realized our initial impression of average for this restaurant was accurate. And the service had not improved in 4 days.
