This was our local during our Rome vacation, despite it being some distance from our apartment in Trastevere. Whatever the time of day or night, we had a ball. The staff are what make this venue, with a special shout out to Nick and 'Freddy' (he knows who we mean)! It is in a neighbourhood which always seems alive and full of interesting Romans going about their daly lives. It was also a great place to meet people from other countries and cultures. The food wasn't ok, certainly fine for snacks. The service was good and friendly. The only negative was that there are only 2 toilets and they do to have catches on the doors which can make it interesting! Also the platform really should have a bar or railing along the edge of the platform at the front. It was my favourite spot to drink in Rome and also for lunch time snacks. This is a must visit place if you aren't precious and want to enjoy a restful but friendly time in Rome. If you have an issue with gay people though, stay away-you won't enjoy it.
