This place used to have amazing, thin, crispy, perfect pizza. It was in all the tour guides as one of the best pizzerie in the neighborhood. I think all the fame went to their heads! The last couple of times I have eaten here were disappointing--droopy soft pizza dough, not enough ingredients on the pizza, just...well, it's not *bad* pizza, but why waste your time on something that isn't excellent? The pizza just isn't up to snuff, and the beer is very overpriced. I now choose Cave Canem, which is just catty-corner to San Calisto.

Yum - cant go wrong. Used to come here as a kid - still is great. Wonderful, typical Roman ambiance - appetizer suggestion: Fior di Zucca and main course stick with the pizzas or typical pasta dishes - dinner on the weekends peak is around 9:30 pm

SMALL too small but food is so good. If you go from April to Septmeber you can sit outside. Inside it gets noisy and crammed.

We love going out to eat and plan most (all) of our vacations around eating and drinking. The pizza´s here are MAGNIFICANT, sooo big we couldn´t finish them, this has never happened to us before. The restaurant looks very dingy from the outside, don´t be fooled, just go and eat and enjoy. The bruschetta´s (tomato and salmon) are very delish, the pizza´s are as big as wagon wheels. Enjoy the house wine, all very cheap as well, it makes you wonder how they can do it for the price.

This place is a must. Get a taxi otherwise you may have some difficulty finding it. Great area to walk your meal off after dinner.
