“Fantastic Hotel”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

We stayed in this hotel on the 31st August 2012 fo 3 nights. If your looking for a great hotel then book this one. The Staff are freindly and very helpful. The Rooms are very clean. The pool is the added bonus of this hotel. The hotel is about 15 mins away from the main attractions but you have the 170 bus stop on your doorstep which takes you straight to the main attractions. I will definately be returning to this hotel and will be recommending it to anyone who is going to Rome.

Room Tip: All rooms are in a great postion.

We had a very good experience staying here at the H10 Roma Citta.
From the minute we checked in staff was friendly, polite, and helpful.
The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfy.
The Air conditioning worked perfect and the room was the most comfortable/coolest out of all the hotels we stayed at on on trip.(with the hottest city temps)
Pool was fantastic,(rooftop) with the exception of it closing at 7 pm (not enforced until a little later--but)
The spa was wonderful. Mellisa was wonderful and my feet were relieved with the reflexology.
Well worth it!
Top notch Hotel.
We would, and will stay at this hotel again Lots of restaurants nearby. one bus ride(170) to all the sights. very easy to get around. laundry mat right around the corner.
We stayed 7 nights. fantastic stay
Very very good hotel in such a big ancient city.
Restaurant was top notch, very good meals. excellent chef, and staff. wonderful food..
You will not be dissappointed.

Thank you H10 Roma Citta ciao

This hotel was perfect from start to finish, we stay for 5 nights and upon arrive we were offered an upgrade, which I glad I took. The staff were friendly and helpful; we seem to deal with Roberto a lot and he always when the extra mile. We did book a private car from Airport to hotel (50 Euro’s), which can be done cheaper but it was nice to arrive in style. The roof top pool and Jacuzzi were refreshing after a long day. If you book this hotel you are better to go for bed and breakfast, which as a wide variety, otherwise 17 Euro’s per person. On each floor there is an Ice and Cold water machine and free Wi-Fi. The hotels offers a free shuttle bus into town, but get outside about 15 minutes before, to make sure you get on. If not the bus stop is not far away (170) which takes about 20 minutes, you have to buy the ticket before 1.50 Euro, and make sure you activate it in the yellow ticket machine.
I read a lot of review of how rough the area is, although not picturesque and a football pitch opposite, the noise was not a problem.

Room Tip: Go for an upgrade.

The staff is soo helpfull, freindly and serviceminded. Our room was very modern and clean, but still homey. The location is not in the citycenter so it takes to changes with bus/tram but so worth it. We can recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Rome!

Just spent 5 nights at H10 Roma Citta and would recommend it to anyone.
Positives:
*Modern hotel
*Large comfortable beds
*Good air-conditioning
*Decent size bathroom with excellent shower (over bath)
*Breakfasts are excellent...get a room with breakfasts included otherwise its 17 Euros per person.
*Free Wifi.
*Ice and cold water machine in corridors.

Only minor negatives:
*Frosted glass door to en-suite with gaps around so not much privacy.
*Wifi worked in the room but signal was not strong.

Tips
*Use bus 170 to get to the centre of Rome (15 minutes)
*We bought a 7 day unlimited travel pass (metros, buses, trams) for 24 euros per person. We bought them from the large bus stop at Termini. You validate your ticket in a yellow machine on the buses the first time you travel but you dont need to get them out again on buses and trams after.
*At the end of our stay we took a taxi back to Ciampino airport. The hotel will book one for you for 50 Euro but if you walk to the main street and turn left and walk 100m there is a small taxi rank there and we were charged 35 Euros to the airport.
*Go to Ping Pong Gelletaria on the main street on the way to Trastevere station for amazing ice cream!

The hotel is not right in the centre of Rome however we never waited more than 10 minutes for bus 170. We used the hotel bus once on the Sunday as they were using a big bus however most days I think it was only a minibus. The hotel isn't located in the most affluent of neighbourhoods however we felt very safe walking in the area during the day and night and walked back to the hotel a couple of times past midnight with no problems at all.

Myself and husband stopped at this hotel from 7th Sep to 10th Sep, first impressions were that it looks great. The roof top pool and jacussi were magnificent. The room was fantastic. Not much views but the room itself we couldn't fault it. The bathroom was even better. There were two shower heads in the walking in spacious shower room. One can shower one side and the other, the other side. The hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes drive from the central rome (colloseum etc). We tried to catch the bus once, but their metre's were nothing like the UK so we caught taxis to and from hotel which would cost around €11 to €13.
We also had breakfast included which was very nice. My husbad was dissapointed that there were no sausages and the food could have been warmer other than that no complaints.

One down side was that when we were checking out the hotel staff asked us to pay a 3 euro per night per person charge, apparantly some sort of tourist charge. So we paid 18 euros but we wern't sure why. All in all we had a great stay :D

Room Tip: We were on the 2nd floor and happy with this. Room 244

My other half treated me to a surprise break in Rome and chose the H10 Roma Citta as the venue for our stay. The hotel is of great standard and very high quality British 4 star standard. It is easily reached from the main termini station via the 170 bus, which also stops at many great Rome locations for hope on hope off whilst on your exploration of the ancient city. We arrived a couple of hours before check in after an early flight from the UK and without any fuss the really helpful and friendly H10 staff allowed us in our room early. The hotel is clean, modern and a really comfortable, there are a couple of quiet comfy seatings areas and a bar, and the hotel gives free WiFi access throughout. And after a long day exploring the city the roof top pool is lovely, small but very inviting, as are the fantastic showers in the rooms. As a guide if you intend to have a lazy day by the pool, be up on the roof at 10am when it opens, it get's busy quickly and there are only about 20 sun loungers. I guess the only negative is that the hotel is not reachable by foot from the city, the bus takes about 10 minutes to get from the main attractions to the hotel, and buses run about 7 per hour, thus meaning that when you go out for the day, you stay out, you can't just quickly pop back to shower and change. However there are many positives about this hotel that outway the out of city location and we would definitely recomend and stay there again ourselves.
