My wife & myself stayed at the Domus Inn last June for our 30th Wedding Anniversary !
On our arrival we had an overwhelming welcome by Signor Bruno. He did his very best to make us feel at home - we were offered an upgrade for a very small fee, the spacious room had all amenities, a/cond - flat screen with many stations - a very clean bathroom & jacuzzi too - a very good breakfast is served daily in the room - what do you need more ? They even surprised us with a bottle of Spumante as they new that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary.
We highly recommend it especially to those who look for cleanliness & comfort as a priority at a very reasonable rate.
We will surely return - it is centrally situated, all interesting places with in walking distance in Villa Borghese area . We consider this as an advantage that this is a small but quaint place with a homely & familiar welcome
Staying here is a must ! We assure you that you would not regret it :)

The Domus Inn at 10 Via Velletri in Rome has wonderful service and the rooms are well maintained and very nice.

First I'll talk about the service. This is a small Inn (ie less than 10 rooms) but they provide 24 hour service and coverage at the front desk. The people at the front desk are extremely friendly and helpful and helped to make our stay in Rome very enjoyable. The people at the desk, Bruno, Shaheed, and Ravi, were champs at welcoming us and providing great service. (We left another hotel in Rome due to the other hotel's poor service and maintanence so we arrived at the Domus Inn a little bit frazzled.) Bruno, Shaheed, and Ravi went out of their way to make our family happy and put us back into a good mood for the rest of our stay in Rome. They brought breakfast to our room each morning and helped to arrange whatever plans / taxis we needed to make. In general they provided good, warm, and very courteous service.

Regarding the Inn, we learned there are many Inns in Rome that are located in residential buildings whereby the Inn occupies a floor. This is typical in Rome. As mentioned, the Inn itself is very clean and the rooms have very nice furnishings. The rooms overlook a couple of restaurants/bars although we did not hear any loud noise when we wanted to go to sleep. We thought the rooms were well insulated. We actually liked and thought it was fun to look out of our 4th floor windows and watch a little of the Rome nightlife. In fact, we were glad it was there because we were in Rome during the FIFA World Cup and went down to watch a football/soccer game along with everyone else.

This is a relatively small and simple Inn. It simply has wonderful people working there as well as clean nicely furnished rooms. I feel very comfortable recommending the Domus Inn at 10 Via Velletri and I would stay there again during our next trip to Rome.

Tiny, but excellent service and friendly staff. I wish I could find the cornettos we had for breakfast, here in the U.S. Some previous reviewers complained about noise from the bar across the street, but we had a room overlooking the bar and found it wonderful street theater!

Location is a 25 minute walk from the Spanish Steps and further to most tourist areas, but we discovered that we could get on the Metro at a nearby stop (Castro Pretorio.) Also, the street market at Piazza Alexandrinia, two blocks away, is a great place to get a picnic lunch.

Great hotel, very helpful and offered loads of advise. Reasonably priced, including breakfast delivered to the room. I would recommend staying here, however perhaps if you prefer lslightly ess walking, I would say stay near a tram stop. However, the transportation in general is not great in Rome, so I wouldn't make too much difference. They kindly upgraded our room with a balcony. I wouldn't recommend paying for a quadrouple room, since they just put two extra beds in a double room, however it was a large room if there were just two people.
Fantastic ice cream parlour oppositie the hotel and taxi's cheap if you don't wanna walk, and ours arrived in 3 mintutes, which the hotel kindly ordered for us!

Overall the staff are lovely.

Oh dear.
First impressions are important, so when we arrived we saw:
*a double badly masquerading as a triple.
*a broken mirror.
*Stained bedspreads on both beds.
*Stained (dirty?) headboard.
---and someone working on the electrical system.

Our room faced a popular nightclub, so the night before our Sunday departure was torture - even with the windows closed, the noise was bothersome. Two mornings out of 4 the toilet would not flush. The room was so crowded with the cot they put in that only one person could eat at the small table when breakfast was delivered.

The location is not in walking distance of the main sights in Rome, requiring the use of the somewhat erratic bus lines to get anywhere. At night, we needed to ring a buzzer to have the hotel staff let us in - sometimes it took a while.

The people working there were very responsive when asked to fix the toilet, and were quite friendly and nice - however, I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel.

Just got back from a wonderful stay in Rome and would highly recommend the Domus Inn for those travelling on a budget, who nevertheless want excellent service and comfortable rooms. The absence of a dining room was a definite plus as far as my wife and I were concerned: it meant we could have breakfast in bed every morning! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and gave some excellent tips for eating out. Here is one small, but telling example of the personal touch: one nearby restaurant gave my wife a rose as we left and we left it in a plastic water bottle we had in the room. After the room had been cleaned the next day, the plastic bottle had been quietly replaced by a rather fetching glass vase. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet with the double-glazed windows closed (might be a bit noisier with these open, but the air-conditioning worked fine). Having read other guests' comments, we accepted the offer of an upgrade to a larger room with Jacuzzi bath, and were very glad we did. We would definitely stay here again.

Since the check in, was a completely surprise, for many reasons: the hotel we booked were suppose to be a 4stars hotel, that was the information available by www.easyjet.com and to be honest this hotel have no conditions to even have 3stars in any place in the world. Was a big rush to find it in the street; because the hotel just has a smaller plate announcement in the building and the hotel is just one floor of that same building. The hotel doesn’t have a breakfast room, so they bring it to rooms every day, that is very unpleasant because in the rooms just exist a small table which must be without any our travel items if we want to take the breakfast. The location is not good to far from the center. The cleanness aren’t the better to much dirty in the walls, to many blots in the curtains and the bath room after use it became almost a piscine with so much water in the floor (awfully bath isolation, for sure they have a serious problem with the bathtub). Finally, a nice word for the friendly staff, during our stay they were always very friendly and useful.
