Had a wonderful stay here.
We had the twin room with the French windows that lead onto a lovely little balcony which we had coffee and breakfast on each day.
Nice walk into town past the Vatican every morning.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

I booked this place on the strength of the reviews on Tripadvisor, and quite frankly I feel a bit miffed. Despite the triple glazing, accelerating or decelerating cars kept us awake for most of the night, assisted by trains shunting past on the raised railway less than a stone's throw from the window, and to cap it all, the apartment is situated under one of the flight paths to Fiumicino airport! Now, no one can expect the silence of the mid-Sahara in downtown Rome, but this was frankly too much, especially as the street address is that of a quiet, leafy residential road where you would expect silence (and a great view of St. Peter's - see below). The trouble is, the flat itself is in a palazzo set right back from the quiet road, and it's on the back of that palazzo, so in effect it overlooks the noisy road(s) on the other side! Also, we were told we'd been given the room with a terrace 'for the view'. The flat's on the ground floor, so the view (carefully blocked out by a very dark green awning, so... no view at all) would actually have been of the sitting room in the flat across the noisy road!! In addition to which, the terrace is accessible from the living room, so the other guest(s) staying in the apartment would be free to use it, sitting up and chatting until deep into the night (thus keeping you awake) if they felt like it. The breakfast was most uninteresting, industrial stuff (i.e. bog-standard jams and yogurts and cellephone-wrapped croissants you'd find in any supermarket). And finally, the shower went stone cold after less than a minute. The hostess, on the other hand, was charming (but for the price, I advise you to look elsewhere...)

Room Tip: If you really do want to stay here, ask for the room with the en-suite bathroom (with window), other...

We stayed here for 5 days and it couldn't have been better. The owner, Liana, was most attentive to any of our needs. she is charming and full of information about Rome.

If you want to be close to St. Peter's you can't get much closer. It's clean comfortable and quiet for good sleeping at night and I think we'd all agree that's esential when doing a lot of walking.

Would stay there again, in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay at this guest house. The owner (Liana) was very nice and attentive to our needs. The house is beautifully furnished and very comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. It includes private baths and shared kitchen and family room. There's a little bit of noise coming from a street downstairs but you won't hear it if you use the air conditioner in the room. I would certainly stay here again. The location is not walking distance from to the Rome center but there is a bus stop nearby with frequent buses. If getting/going to FCU airport I suggest taking the shuttle.
