We had two rooms here for three nights and were very impressed. The location is excellent, we walked for miles in Rome and when we needed to get to the Vatican, the subway stop is right around the corner. Plenty of excellent restaurants nearby and the street, although in a busy neighborhood, is very quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Giorgio was very helpful, contacting us in advance by email to ensure we had directions and Barbara is the best! She is wonderfully friendly and helpful and took time to explain to us where all the major sights are as well as recommending restaurants. We would definitely return. Thank you Giorgio and Barbara!

We stayed at La Piccola Maison for 4 nights and can honestly say it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we booked Giorgio sent a personal email with all the information plus extra information regarding transportation, costs, directions, etc. On our arrival, Barbara greeted us with a friendly smile and great energy that made us feel at home. She provided wonderful tips and information on sights and other information like tour guides, schedules, costs, etc. The best thing was she told us of the best places to eat and experience local and authentic Italian cuisine.
Gigorgio and Barbara went out of their way to make our visit a pleasant one. The hotel is in a great location, the room was spacious and impeccable. We would definitely recommend La Piccola to everyone planning on visiting Rome!

Great hotel. Central, young enthusiastic and helpful staff. Made sure I knew where the best sites in Rome where and how to get to them. Always helpful to try to get me tickets and book galleries in advance. Found this on tripadvisor so these reviews really work. Would definitely go again.

We stayed here as part of the last leg of our 2 1/2 week European trip. It turned out to be the best experience of our whole trip. I don't know about the other rooms but ours was a a multi -room suite: bedroom, kitchen, living room and two bathrooms. It was very comfortable and clean. We were given a bottle of complimentary wine upon arrival.
The location was excellent. It was only steps away from the Metro Station which we used to get to some of he further sites - The Coliseum and Vatican. All other attractions were within easy walking distance - Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc. Several stand-up breakfast and sandwich cafes were also nearby.
The best part of this place was the service. Barbara was very helpful in suggesting sites, giving us travel hints and securing restaurant reservations. She pointed us to some of the best food we had in all of Italy and got us into these popular spots. She helped us to navigate the city. At the end, she arranged reliable transportation to the airport.
This was our first stay in Rome and Barbara truly helped make it a success. I would stay here again.
Oh yes - and the price was great - a very good value in expensive Rome!

We had the extreme pleasure of staying three nights at La Piccola Maison when were in Rome. From the moment we reserved our room, we knew they were all about service. We immediately got a personal note from Giorgio asking if we needed help with booking a taxi from the airport, tours, etc. Because we've been in Rome before, we were interested in having a personal guide who could really go "in depth" with us during our visits in the Forum and at the Vatican Museums. They hooked us up with Tomaso, a wonderful young archeologist and fabulous guide. When we arrived, Barbara greeted us with warmth, enthusiasm, and a bunch of ideas on how to get the most out of our visit. We loved the location and the fact that it felt more like someone's home than a hotel. The bedroom and bathroom were both large and very nice. Also loved free unlimited wifi. We would definitely stay there again and would encourage anyone else looking for a wonderful experience to do so as well.

Stayed for 2 nights in September for a joint birthday celebration - Barbara and Giorgio were the perfect hosts. A wonderful welcome when we arrived and given all the help and information we needed to make sure we made the most of our time in Rome. The hotel is perfectly placed so that we could easily walk to all the sights and our room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend La Piccola Maison to anyone visiting Rome - you won't be disappointed!
