We really enjoyed our stay (5 nights) at La Piccola Maison.
This is a small gem close to Piazza Barberini, 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps and the main streets of the center.
LOCATION IS EVERYTHING when we travel and this place is what we need to visit the city.
We’re back in the US and wanted to thanks everyone at La Piccola Maison for a wonderful stay in Rome and for the help organising all our tours (terrific...ask to Giorgio about private tours) and transfers so efficiently!
We had a lovely time in Rome and we look forward to visiting again.

We stayed at La Piccola Maison for 3 nights at the beginning of our Italy trip. I found it online and thought it looked nice and the location seemed good. I was pleasantly surprised with how wonderful it was. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room, was small, was simple, clean, and comfortable. The location was excellent. The metro is just a minute walk away and many sights are within walking distance. The area is also very nice and there are many great restaurants. I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Rome.

La Piccola Maison is located in an apartment floor. Has 5 rooms. We stayed for 4 nights as a couple in room 3. It is a very small room but almost every place you stay in Europe rooms are small sized. The location of this small hotel is the best thing about it. You can walk to Spanish steps or Trevi Fountain in 5-10 minutes. Barberini metro station is in front of the hotel. You can reach Vatican via metro in 3 stops. There is a small bus numbered 116 which passes from the road in front of the hotel. You can go to Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori with it, or you can walk easily like we did. They organize taxi from and to the airport. I took the taxi they organized and dropped my cell phone at the taxi. They reached the driver and got my cell phone in half an hour. They also provide very nice restaurant advice. Tried and very satisfied with all of them.

Stayed for 8 nights in Feb/ Mar and would do it all again! Location was fantastic with the M, bus stop and newsstand just a few steps away. Fabulous enoteca with a friendly owner located just below the same building. Shopping wasn't too far away either, with a church and museum just across the street as well. We stayed in the ground floor apartment and it was nice and spacious. It was clean and very importantly, comfortable. We felt right at home there and slept soundly. As with most other Italian hotels/ apartments, the shower area was small but it did have hot water so we were happy. Free WIFI is a plus, but connection was touch-and-go or very slow unfortunately. As we had planned to eat in occasionally, we were disappointed by the state of the crockery and lack of proper flatware and dishwashing liquid. Having said that, service is the BEST. Giorgio, Mara and Diana are sincere, friendly and helpful people and when we asked for things, help, advise, they were there with a warm smile and can-do attitude. As I understand it, they've taken my kitchenette feedback graciously and are working on improving the situation. Would DEFINITELY stay here again and would recommend La Piccola Maison to all my friends and family visiting bella Roma!

Room Tip: If you plan on using the kitchenette, check with Giorgio that the necessary is available - pots, plates, utensils, dishwashing liquid etc.
