My husband and I were in Rome for six nights, and ate at Il Bacocco twice. It is a small Trastevere restaurant with excellent food, an excellent wine selection and moderate prices. The scallop carpaccio was extraordinary. The lamb confit is also excellent, as was the barley based pudding desert. The olive oil from Sicily was touted as special, and lived up to its review. Service is attentive without hovering. I was not there for business, but would no hesitate to bring clients there.
